Hi everyone! I want to start off by saying I’m so sorry for everything all of you have been through, no one should ever have to suffer through the loss of a child. I have been lurking for the last few weeks and this is definitely the kind of support group I’m so glad is out there. A little about my story: It was my first pregnancy and I went in for my 9 week u/s (April 1st) and the baby had no heartbeat. I was so devastated, I know a miscarriage can happen to anyone, but there is no way to prepare for that news. I had my D&C the next day. It’s been 2 weeks and it has gotten a little easier, but I cry every time I talk about it and it's on my mind so often. I’m still grieving, it all happened so quickly that the reality of it really didn’t set in for a few days.
I’m currently on the bench but was hoping you guys would have me while I wait to start trying again. My doctor said to wait one cycle before trying, but stressed that only if I’m emotionally ready and that if I decide I want more time take it. My husband and I have decided we will see when my cycle starts and gage if we are ready then. I do hope for another chance one day, and I know my body and soul will tell me when it’s ready so I’m not rushing it.
Anyways, I hope to be a support to you guys on here as much as I can even though I’m new to this, but one thing I can always offer no matter what I have been through is my T&P.
