    Week/fruit? 37, winter melon

    Symptoms? Terrible heartburn and false labor.  Woke up at 2 something this morning with painful contractions that were 3-9 minutes apart.  They lasted for 45 minutes to an hour before going away....also during that time I was having diarrhea - no fun early this morning.

    Upcoming appointments? Had my 37 week appointment today; 1cm and 70% effaced, baby locked and loaded. Doctor said it could happen anytime, especially with her having dropped, or it could be another couple weeks...

    Rants/raves?  Rant - not a fan of the painful contractions that go away...if I knew that it was true labor, that's one thing, but I don't like the pain that lasts for awhile and then it goes away.  At least with true labor there will be an end and there will be a baby at the end of it.

    Week/fruit? 34 weeks / Butternut squash

    Symptoms? Getting out of breath more and more with climbing stairs, and having trouble sleeping, feet starting to swell at the end of the day. No contractions or BH, which i guess i'm lucky at this point

    Upcoming appointments? Next appt is next Friday. They are testing for GBS at this one.

    Rants/raves? I'm so frustrated with trying to bend over and trying to put on socks and shoes. I just want to touch my feet again!! Raves: Baby's room is all set ready to go and my 2 yr old DS is at such a great stage, full of love and energy.

    GTKY: Did you take a babymoon? Where did you go/how was it? We did not take a babymoon. Working on the house slowly, which is not as fun.

    Week/fruit? 34 weeks, butternut squash? (I think)
    Symptoms? Same as what it's been- swollen feet sometimes, BH, discomfort
    Upcoming appointments? Next Tuesday for my weekly appointments
    Rants/raves? Rant: HUGE test tomorrow. Rave: After this week, I will be done with a ton of grading, a ton of studying, and a huge paper. Hooray!!!

    Week/fruit? 34 weeks/butternut squash

    Symptoms? BH, discomfort, constant peeing, exhaustion (but that could also come from my almost 15 month old!)

    Upcoming appointments? Tomorrow!  Will probably get a cervical check since I've been having so many contractions and the baby dropped over a week ago. 

    Rants/raves? Rant: I'm hating work more and more... we're interviewing next Monday for my replacement and I only have 10 work days left... thank goodness!  Rave: I LOVE feeling this little babe move so much... my first daughter barely moved and my placenta was in the front so I rarely felt her...

    GTKY (stolen from another ticker change day): Did you take a babymoon? Where did you go/how was it?  Not really... we did go to NYC for the weekend in December but it was with our daughter and pretty hectic.  With our first we took 3 weeks and went camping around the great lakes... THAT was fun!

    Symptoms?
    Horrible carpel tunnel. I ugly cried at the doctor's office yesterday and he almost had to send me to L&D because my heart rate was elevated! They left me alone for 30 mins in the exam room and it fortunately went down.

    Upcoming appointments?
    Weekly appt next Monday

    Rants/raves?
    Rant: I have to wear a stupid brace all the time til my wrists stop hurting which my dr said should be 2-3 weeks after the baby is born.
    Rave: The dr also ordered me to sit in a tub for 45 mins - twice a day to help reduce swelling. Only a rave because I don't have much going on right now!

    We're going to a resort about 10 miles away next weekend for our Baby moon/ my birthday. I'll be getting a massage, hanging out in the pool and eating a glorious dinner! Can't wait!!

    Week/fruit? 34 weeks, butternut squash

    Symptoms?     Totally uncomfortable, tons of pressure on my cervix, achy back, tired. I sound like such a complainer!

    Upcoming appointments?     Next Monday

    Rants/raves?     I'm feeling just plain huge. Ugh! Luckily, I'm so busy with work that the weeks are flying by.

    GTKY (stolen from another ticker change day): Did you take a babymoon? Where did you go/how was it?     We did last time with DD, but not this time. We're saving every extra penny for the new home we're building.

    Week/fruit? 34 weeks/butternut squash

    Symptoms? Horrible heartburn. Been having racing heart, dizziness, and seeing spots (again!) this past weekend. When I talked to OB about it last appt she ordered blood tests, came back normal. But this weekend was so bad I ended up in the hospital.

    Upcoming appointments? Upcoming... 2 weeks. But just had a follow up/check up yesterday and had an ultrasound today to make sure baby was ok from this past weekend. (She's just fine! It's momma that's messed up! haha)

    Rants/raves? Rants: Well Drs don't know what I'm having the racing heart and all that crap. But apparently my BP also keeps going up sometimes (not always, but when I monitor it at home I've gotten a few high readings). Told the Dr I had for the ultrasound today and he said I need to monitor it more closely and he will speak with my OB about diagnosing me with PIH. If so he said they'll induce me around 37 weeks.
    Also, while I was in the hospital they were seeing contractions every 10 mins apart. Sunday night I had some bleeding and really felt contractions. Went from 1cm to 2.5cm in a day... so Dr is thinking I'm gonna be early. Ugh.
    Raves: Having DH around for the past few hospital stay, Dr visits and ultrasound has kinda put the fear of D-Day into him. So he's trying to finish all his to do list very soon!

    GTKY (stolen from another ticker change day): Did you take a babymoon? Where did you go/how was it? Kinda. DH had an interview/testing process for Myrtle Beach PD a few weeks ago. So we spent some time down there and thats where he proposed to me! So we kinda had a baby moon. It was a great time.

    Week/fruit? 35, Coconut

    Symptoms? Swelling, hip/back pain (making sleep and walking impossible), overall crappy mood...

    Upcoming appointments? Next Tuesday for last growth scan, GBS, and talk about L&D options since DS is still big and the GD is changing.  Could be 2 weeks from now..ahhhhh!

    Rants/raves? Rant: Worries over everything...between money, organizing this single room we all will be in, bills, just...everything.   Rave: My Nana took me to Target on a whim and bought us the travel system we registered for since it was on sale!  One less thing to worry about!

    GTKY (stolen from another ticker change day): Did you take a babymoon? Where did you go/how was it?  DH wanted to take me to Charlotte to see The Little Mermaid Broadway (Ursula is my dream role), but finances didn't work out.  So, no babymoon for us.

    Week/fruit? 36-- not sure what fruit. I think my app said romaine lettuce?!(lol)


    Symptoms? Not much. my BP was high at appt monday and they sent me to L&D to be monitored. Was fine there and sent home after an hour.

    Upcoming appointments? u/s friday and appt monday

    Rants/raves? Nothing at this point. Just feeling so huge and hard as heck to get off the couch, out of the bed etc. I feel like a weeble. ha

    GTKY (stolen from another ticker change day): Did you take a babymoon? Where did you go/how was it? Nope..... our baby moon probably was this time last year to key west.... way before I got pregnant. Ha. I know doesn't really count, but I will let it in my mind.

    Week/fruit? 36 weeks, honeydew melon (yuck)

    Symptoms? Swollen feet and hands, (no more wedding ring for me), some heartburn but that's about it.  Occasional BH.

    Upcoming appointments? I start the weeklies on Monday.

    Rants/raves? Rant: I ripped my hubby's boxers today.  Looks like I'm getting a tad big. Rave: Found several Amazon giftcards that we didn't realize we had.  Rounding out our registry feels wonderful.

    GTKY (stolen from another ticker change day): Did you take a babymoon? Where did you go/how was it? No, we did celebrate our anniversary last week at a fancy restaurant though.  De-lish!
