During the week, he's at daycare. During the weekends, it depends on if we go out or stay home.
Out of the house activites: park, botanical gardens, zoo, science museum, aquarium, walk on the waterfront/visit nature center, shopping, visit family, swimming lessons, walk around neighborhood
Home activities: music time (sing songs, play instruments, listen to recorded music), read books, play with toys, fingerpainting (only tried this once so far), jumperoo (though he is outgrowing this)
I'm sure I'm probably forgetting some stuff, but that's what I have for now.
To actually answer the question, the boys are in daycare during the week. In the evenings we typically have a movie on while I make dinner and he watches it a little but mostly stands at the gate and yells for attention lol On the weekends we do a lot of errands, play outside when it's nice and just do random playing of toys in the house. Nothing exciting.
We've been at my parents in Airzona for 3.5 weeks, so our day to day is a little different here. She's changed so much that we will probably change up a lot of our routine when we get home. These days, our activities include swimming at the pool here every afternoon. We also have a kiddie pool in the backyard that only has a couple inches of water in it. She loves to crawl around in the water and play with her toys in there! We go for a walk around the community every morning and we have been doing A LOT of shopping! Haha.
When we get home we will be starting swim lessons twice a week. The town also offers some different things at the library and the FCSS. We were going to Tummy Time & Rhyme before we came down here. She was just starting to get a little old for it (read: she couldn't sit still and leave the little babies alone! Still loved singing songs and rhymes with the group though). So we are going to check out the regular play group that they offer (it's drop in, two days a week) and the lady who ran the Tummy Time & Rhyme class said that they were planning a few more organized groups like that for the summer that would be good for M.
At home, we play in her toy room, she "helps" with some chores, and I'm hoping that come spring/summer she will also "help" in the yard while I get some gardening done! We are also setting up a play centre in the yard once the snow is gone.
Monday is vacuum and cleaning day Tuesday is library story time Wednesdays we go over to a friends house who has a 3 yo and 18 month old Thursday is play school Friday is moms group
Afternoons I will try to go for a walk or to the park now that it's warming up. Weekends we will do some running around, go swimming or spend time outside.
We go to out local Early Years Centre, we usually go swimming once a week, playdates once a week, shopping once a week.
When we are home we terrorize the pets, look out the windows, occasionally play with our toys, try to escape out the front door, climb the stairs when Mommy isn't looking, get into some cook drawers in the kitchen ....
We go to a play group once or twice a week. Local library once a week. Errands. Spend daddy's money. Cook dinner daily. Play toys. Read books. Do a billion things he's not supposed to. Play in the cat waters dish daily. Try and eat cats food. Play with cats toys instead of his. Play with remote control.
