Work rant...are you kidding me?

My office lady is ridiculous.....she actually told a customer that I made a mistake because my hormones must be all over the place.....are you fucking kidding me? Do you want to see my hormones come out right now. First off, I didn't make a mistake. Second off, why do you feel the need to make an excuse for me. And third why would you make that excuse my hormones!? So I'm incompetent because I'm pregnant? I guess you are incompetent one week every month too? Don't comment on my hormones lady. I'm tired of your shit already. Then when I told her what I did wasn't a mistake she wouldn't even believe me. I love my job and everyone else that I work with. I've never wanted to take early maternity leave because I don't want to just sit around and I really like the rest of my crew and I'm not returning here after maternity leave (telling everyone is going to be really hard....they don't know yet), but I'm seriously considering hitting the bricks to get away from her....seriously she's that bad. Thanks for the vent....should I take mat leave early? I want to have all my ends tied up and be around the rest of my crew, but idk if I can handle this lady.

    To clarify, I accepted a new position a few weeks ago, but I'm sticking around to make sure my customers are covered during the spring and everything goes as planned. Keeping it quiet at work and in the surrounding community for now.

    I would chew her out but not leave over it. If she has supervisor I might even complain about her. The real problem is that she's making both you and the company look bad by making inappropriate comments about her team. You probably won't be the only casualty since she obviously doesn't know appropriate from inappropriate.

    Oh she doesn't know appropriate. There are only eight full time employees at my location and the entire morale of the place is in the shitter because of it. She actually told one of the guys wives that she didn't know how her husband brought home a paycheck because she is the only one that does anything and everyone else is lazy ans sits on their asses. The boss has tried to get her to cool her jets...but there is no reasoning with her. She is good at her job, just her attitude and how she treats people sucks. We have people that won't do business with us anymore because of it. Frustrating situation. I think I've decided to tell my boss I'm not going to work unless we are busy in the field and I don't have to be in the office. That way I can take care of my customers, be a part of the. Team when we are busy, and limit my exposure to a toxic environment.

    She is a real winner....not. Sorry you have to deal with one Debby Downer at work. Its never easy to shrug it off, but try. She's not worth your time.
