Last week Updates:

Sorry that I thought I posted on Friday! I was wondering why there was no one updating. Lol!

mrsdbc: When getting her P17 shot, nurse made a comment that she had to put lots of pressure on the site to stop bleeding. Mrsdbc mentioned that she has been bleeding a lot from the site in the past month due.  Nurse responded that it could simply be an iron deficiency, reaction to the shot, or a sign of something else. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers that everything is ok and that symptom has a simple fix.

Also, she did a hospital tour and found out that she won't be there less than 48 hours for a v-delivery due to new hospital policy. She is worried since she hasn't left DS for more than a second since he was born. Keep your head up, mama! Glad to hear that he will be in good hands while you and hubby are with LO in the hospital.

haziedaze: Enjoying being off bed rest a LOT! Doing a lot of nesting at 38 weeks-woohoo!

MinaE01: Still at 1cm and has made it to 34 weeks! Stay put, LO!

flergirl: Continuing to stay liberated about BR until told otherwise; BP is good and baby Jenna is 3lbs 10oz at 30w3d! Her mommy helps her gain weight by eating lots of ice cream. :)

rslhmg: Baby's head is down and growing properly! No change from last week which means it's a good chance of going the full 40! However, insurance is refusing to accept a referral for her gallbladder removal from OB; has to get it from general practitioner.

bluebird2318: 38 weeks! GBS came back negative! Has been sick and has sore throat-feel better, mama!

  • Well the braxton hicks have started. I'm not feeling most of them, but the dr saw more on the monitor today than he's happy about so I'm off my feet for at least the next week, if the number goes down I'll be allowed to be up and about a limited amount, if not he said I'll be on bed rest until I deliver. I didn't know braxton hicks were such a big deal! Everything else has stayed the same.

  • @bluebird2318 - 39 weeks!!!! In the words of my nephew, "DUDE." So excited for you!
I am 32+1 and digging it! I see my OB this week and am going to make him answer my list of questions and see if he still thinks I will be early. My BP has been creeping up but no other pre-e signs are there, so woohoo! Jenna is practicing her karate moves and DH got to feel her! He never got to feel DS before he was born so that was exciting. He said it was like being in
    Alien... thanks, honey.

Can't wait to hear how everyone else is doing and wishing you the best for this week!

I'm not new. I just hate The Bump.

  • I haven't updated in a while. I'm 17+4 today and doing pretty good. Squish is moving around a lot everyday and I am starting to feel movement from the outside now as well. Less than 2 weeks till my a/s and seeing squish again. Hopefully we can find out whether the girls are going to have a baby sister or brother.

@bluebird2318 --- I hope you get the VBAC you want! I am hoping for a VBAC as well. What is the usual cut off before they schedule a RCS? Its early so I haven't talked to my OB about this yet.

@megs2011 Thank you and best of luck on your VBAC as well! How exciting that you're finding out boy or girl soon! The cut-off date varies from practice to practice. Of course, I'm sure it depends on your individual circumstances as well. From word of mouth it seems like 40-41 weeks is pretty common, but some practices readily let you go the full 42 under favorable conditions. I'm sure there is some wiggle room for negotiation as you get toward the end if you keep an open dialogue with your OB about it and your health (and baby's health) supports it.

Congratulations, @haziedaze‌ !!! What amazing news! I can imagine how the mama guilt might kick in, but their births are both special in their own ways. Enjoy your sweet new boy!!!
