Pregnant after 35

TMI post #2-discharge

I am 19 weeks and wearing a pantyliner daily. Have had to for awhile. I know discharge/leakage is common but was wondering if I am alone on having to sometimes change my liner twice a day. Forgot to ask my MD about it at last appt. Guessing its pretty normal but just curious how others are battling this.

hmmm I didn't think of it like that since its been ongoing for awhile. I don't feel as though I have other symptoms so it didn't really cross my mind. I will bring it up to my OBGYN at my appt.

  • I was worried myself (lots and LOTS of discharge) until I went to talk to the doc about it.

    Found out it's just leukorrhea.

    It's super gross though.  *sigh*

  • I read that extra discharge around 19-20 weeks was normal, as long as it is not foul smelling or an odd color. I am not sure if it lasts for the duration of the pregnancy or not, though.

I've heard of this. I am used to it now and just seems to be another fun body change as part of the journey

  • I'm only on week 13 but found that my discharge is exactly on schedule with my period. I always had discharge right before my period and that's when it's been heaviest for me. Then on the days I would've had my period the discharge is light brown...crazy!
