S/O BLW Check-in

Those with LO that have teeth...what are you doing? I know it's part of the learning process but LO keeps biting off large pieces and gags on it; every bite. We just started so I know he's just figuring it out but I still feel uneasy sometimes.

    Maybe start with softer food until he's more used to chewing.  I know it's hard to not freak out but gagging is good -- it means he's not going to try and swallow something he's unable to.

    CJ does not have teeth and will make chewing motions.  This took a couple - a few weeks to develop, though.  I want to say the gagging subsided, too.  We've been doing it for about a month (he is 6.5 months).

    Jo is still working on her teeth. Recently she has started the chewing motion. We mostly give her softer foods or foods that will dissolve with spit.
