This is how I feel...
No, I don't want to pick you up a "good" coffee and bring it to you in the morning. Just because I am dropping DD off at preschool, doesn't mean I can be your errand runner. The worst thing about her asking me do that for her is the fact that the coffee shop is literally across the street from where she lives. If she wants company, I wish she would just ask. Not this "I wouldn't mind seeing you, so do something for me" kind of attitude. I love her but she can be so completely overwhelming.
Sorry to vent my frustrations here...
anyone else have a vent tonight?

Re: MIL vent
Now, since she sent me that text I have been figuring out my arguement outloud (see the strange behavior post). I am almost over it, I will just get her the fucking coffee and be done with it!
Eta: change post name
My vent: instead of calling or asking me via text message, my MIL posts a comment on my FB page asking me to bake a lamb cake for Easter this Sunday...since 'you do it so well! THANK YOU!!!' I don't even celebrate Easter, but her family has a get together in a town 2 hours away this Sunday. Guess we are expected to attend.
Since last week and all weekend, I've been working on emergency deadlines and trying to take care of DS during the day...when do I have time to bake and frost a freaking lamb cake? Argh
Actually, she does sound lonely but doesn't want to seem needy? Annoying, yes-- but it seems like she actually enjoys your company.
Maybe offer to do coffee with her once a week or something?
