I've been working on transitioning My 4 month old to crib since Thursday night. It's gone ok. He was previously sleeping from 9/930-730a straight. I would nurse at 830, pump at 10 and get 2 oz. then would pump at 6a during the week and get 5-6oz. Well, my pumping times have gotten out of whack because he's waking up 1-2 times per night and at a different time each morning. my output at my morning and bedtime has decreased by 2 oz each pump, creating an overall shortage for the day. Thank god for the freezer stash.
So my questions are:
Has anyone else had supply issues during crib transition and did you adjust?
Should I just keep pumping at my regular times to signal my body to keep producing at those times?
This seems like it should be so simple but I feel like I'm trying to hard at figuring it out. Lol
