Does your LO freak about storms?

We are getting some severe weather & this thunder is making both kids into anxious messes.

Does your LO care about storms? Also, a special TP to any parent that let's their LO go to an Easter party while sick. Or to Playgroup sick. Both kids have got a cold.

So we are being responsible & hanging out at home. :-w

With the big storm we had a couple weeks ago he didn't even notice anything was different, just stood in the tub grinning the whole time we were hunkered down. I hope he continues that trend!

I love this - that's what my grandmother and mom always told my brother and I when we were little.

So far, E doesn't seem to respond to storms. It will be interesting to see how she reacts as she gets older.

Stupid people sharing their germs. Hope that the kiddos start to feel better soon.

We haven't had any tstorms this year. They didn't bother him last summer, but neither did the vacuum, hair dryer, or blender and they do now.

We had some storms a couple weeks ago, but all the thunder and lightning were during her nap time or at night when she was asleep. It was so loud, and I thought she would wake up since she is a pretty light sleeper, but the stinker slept through it all! I was really grateful because she kept waking up on New Years Eve when all the fireworks were going off.

Re: germs... My play group is pretty responsible. If he does get a cold, I just tell myself that he's building up an immune system and preschool won't be such an ass kicker. It does suck to be cooped up in the house, though

E does not pay the storms any attention. My DD who is 6 freaks out during thunderstorms and windy days. We experienced a derecho a few years ago and it still haunts her.

As for sicknesses, I don't personally like to share it with others. I will warn friends with kids and give them the option of hanging out. My DD brings everything home from school now though. Drives me crazy.
