Repronex Injections Cycle #2

 After trying 6 rounds of clomid and 6 rounds of femara, I was told my options were injections with timed intercourse or IVF.  My insurance only covers 1 IVF cycle in a lifetime, so injections it is! Round 1 was cancelled and I cried!!! Oh, I was so upset...even though I knew it was a possibility, it was heart breaking...I wasn't responding to the shots, so they upped the dose and BOOM, I responded like crazy! I had over 10 mature follicles which was, of course, too many to take the trigger shot.  So I just started round 2 a few days ago...Blood work and ultrasound every other day is exhausting! Not to mention very hard to schedule around work!

Anyone else do the repronex injections with trigger shot and timed intercourse??? What was your experience like? Success stories please!

Even though my husband is super supportive, sometimes I feel very alone in all this!! If one person posts a pregnancy announcement on Facebook, I may scream!

    Hey, @nariadreaming, I think you got lost. ;)
    Son: Jackson, 11/02/06, stillborn due to PPROM and IUGR. Over the next ten years we had 9 miscarriages from 8-14 weeks. On May 18, 2016 my daughter, Ridley, was born. We're OADNBC.

    Diagnosed with PCOS. The cause of that? Who knows... Basically I don't get a period regularly or ovulate naturally. We don't want to do IUI at this point because we want to conceive as "naturally" as possible... The main problem is just getting me to ovulate...

    I'm doing medicated cycles wit TI. I'm doing Gonal, trigger and progesterone. I've never heard of repronex but Google said it's stimulates follicles so I'm guessing it's like Gonal. I'm not doing an IUI because my RE said it won't increase our chances. I'm doing my 3rd cycle and last before IVF. I don't have a success story but I'll give you my story.

    My first cycle was a bfn but my RE was figuring out how I was responding, I only got 1 mature.

    Cycle 2, they upped my meds. I had 2 mature and a BFP but ended in a CP. Come to find out I had 3 release, 1 snuck in right at the end. Then I developed 2 cyst and got on birth control for 2 weeks then started the next cycle.

    Cycle 3, they upped my meds more. I'll prob trigger tomorrow. I have 5 mature as of today.

    I do ovulate on my own my problem is egg quality. Good luck.
