Fear of pregnancy

Does anyone else have a serious fear of becoming pregnant again, not due to a bad experience, but because they know they don't want another baby?  I am having horrible anxiety about the possibility of being pregnant again.  It makes things worse because the anxiety makes me feel nauseous, and then I really start to think I might be pregnant.  It's a vicious cycle.  We just had our second baby and we don't want any more so we are using protection, but I still have this horrible fear that right now we will have the "oops" and I know I can't handle it.  I was just wondering if I'm the only one.

    Yes and no. I had an IUD that decided not to stay in place when I was about 4 months post partum and ended up taking Plan B because I was worried about getting pregnant so soon. But I want another one eventually, just not yet. I'm less concerned now that I'm 6 months post partum and feeling like I have a handle on the whole baby thing. 

    If the anxiety is crippling, maybe you need to talk to your ob or another doctor about the anxiety? Also see if there are options for more reliable birth control than barrier methods (which is what I assume you're using when you say "protection").

    I had my tubes tied with this last baby. I think I would cry if they failed me!...not because of having another baby, I just don't want to be pregnant again!

    I've had a bad dream or two about this :-S I'm certain I don't want another. I have an IUD. DH plans to get a vasectomy I. The next few years. I agree with @roo1oo‌ : talk with your dr if the anxiety is crippling and use a very reliable form off BC.

    I went with nexplanon. It's an implant that goes under the skin of your arm. Pretty pain free to insert. Lasts for three years. High rates of success.
    Can't figure out the signature thing, so here's the short, short version.....first daughter born on November 10, 2013. She was conceived through the magic of IVF after 2+ years of TTC.

    I was fired for being single and pregnant so I totally understand. As I prepare to return to a different church this July I've literally had nightmares I was pregnant and I've not even had sex so it's not in the realm of possibilities.
