It's almost noon here in MDT and no "10 Things" thread, so I thought I'd kick it off while I'm pumping and bumping....aaaaannnnd go!

1. That damn spam thread title with "chocolate cake" in it is sooo making me crave chocolate cake

Portillo's, to be exact!

Can't wait for our Chicago trip later this month.

2. This is our busy time of year at work and I am feeling a tad overwhelmed so instead I am bumping and running out for a facial later, heh.

3. I got my hair cut over the weekend and I am hopeful the shorter length will make me more motivated to blow dry and flat iron it! I look better (and feel better) when my hair is done.

4. Can't believe LO is almost 9 months old...his first year has totally flown by

6. We are also planning a long weekend in Lake Tahoe in August, and found great deals on the plane tickets! I am excited.

7. Can't think of a #7.

8. DH is having his "V" done on Thursday...no moar babies for this lady. Hope he's not too much of a baby about the recovery

9. Speaking of babies, I want to go meet my friend's new baby girl! Just need to figure out when she will feel comfortable with me stopping by--she had her at a birth center, so they sent her home after 6 hours (which is, of course, what she wanted).

10. Looking forward to dying eggs and doing an Easter egg hunt with DS1 this weekend--he keeps saying "I want to do Easter eggs, mom!" (I'm not sure if he's talking about the dying or the hunting of eggs, or maybe both)

1. DS has been cracking me up lately. He thinks he is so funny. He drops everything and says uh-oh.

2. I wanted to have morning sex with H but then he farted and scratched his ass and the moment left me.

3. I dropped a shampoo bottle in the shower today and scared the shit out of myself.

4. The Blacklist was a re-run last night and I was upset.

5. My pants are currently unbuttoned...thanks Key West vacation.

6. Peapod comes tonight.

7. DD is obsessed with My Little Ponies. I have memorized every name. I find myself really drawn to Twilight Sparkle...I think I am a lot like her.

8. I took out all the outside toys and then is fucking snowed. Fuck you weather.

1 to10. A Maid is cleaning my house today while I'm at work. It's her initial cleaning so I hope she does a good job and we can have her clean every week.

1. I am traveling to San Diego for work tomorrow and am coming home Thursday afternoon.
2. I went to run some errands today before my trip and my car broke down (fortunately in front of my house) and I had to have it towed. Good thing it didn't happen en route to the airport.
3. It's leaking transmission fluid, which is bad, bad news.
4. H can't take me to the airport so I'm scrambling to get a taxi or shuttle.
5. Aside from the hassle of how I'm getting to and from the airport, I am excited to get away from here for a night. I need sleep and a break from LO.
6. I feel like a bad mom for looking forward to being away from him for a day.
7. In reality I'll probably be gone for 45 minutes and start to miss him.
8. I am not looking forward to pumping since I rarely have to. Last time I traveled overnight for work I got terrible clogged ducts in both breasts, which I assumed was from pumping.
9. H has been very opinionated about LO's night sleep lately and thinks I'm doing some things wrong even though he doesn't do any of bed time or MOTN work.
10. So I am secretly hoping LO doesn't decide to sleep well on his watch.

1. I know I'm super late to this.

2. I had a meeting/teaching free day today and had grand plans for what I would accomplish.

3. Yea. not so much.

4. After a late lunch, I went to the mall for a quick trip to buy dress shirts for both boys for Easter.

5. Because I didn't get anything special for S to wear last year and felt I should've.

6. But my planned "quick trip" ended up being more like a quest for the most awesome-ist coordinating dress shirt combination possible.

7. And also buy the cute summer boys' clothes!

8. And while I'm here, how about something for mama?

9. Whoops.But it was 40% off?

10. This is why I go to the mall like twice a year.

1. Instead of working out, DH and I had a relaxing dinner while Noah was at the sitter.

2. Then we went and saw Rio 2.

3. DH calls himself the nighttime ninja because he can put Noah to bed and sneak out of the room better than me.

4. I need to take a first aid and CPR certification course after our move.

5. At some point, our power went out today so nothing had the right time. What a pain.

6. I want to whine about the rain and clouds but at least it wasn't snow.

7. I feel like I've told the sitter before that all she has to do to make Noah happy is put on Frozen but maybe I didn't because she acted like it was new news.

8. DH and I had a long discussion about why we are feeling disconnected from each other and I think it really helped both of us.

9. I hate meal planning.

10. I have seen less cochroaches living in GA than I do just in my neighborhood back in NM. I did not expect that.
