Diarrehea Question

So out of the blue DS1 had the runs on the potty. He had complained that his bum hurt and went. Fingers crossed, so far he seems ok otherwise. I am not wzperienced with the runs too much. In your experience, is it often a reaction to food (like if your kid eats more fruit etc)? Or does your kid only get the runs when sick?

    It could be anything from teething to a bug.

    When he gets it though, I try and put him on the BRAT diet. banana, rice, applesauce, and toast. But bland foods until I find the cause (or goes away)

    Depends on the kid.  My middle child, a loose poop may be normal.  My youngest is probably sick.

    I'm there right now with DS because we let him eat waaaay too much fruit at GMILs birthday party. His skin is pink on his bottom from where the poop sat against it. Poor little guy.

    He's pooped about six times a day in the last two days. Sometimes he has a bad stomach and I have no idea why.
