Acupuncture After BFP?

Hi ladies. Did anyone who did acupuncture before their BFP continue the acupuncture after? Did anyone stop? Thanks for your help!

Me & DH (33), 3 Furbabies, TTC since October 2011
Day 3 #’s (Dec 2012) FSH 9, AMH .77, LH 2.4, E2 31, AFC 9 

DX: Me-DOR + No Tubes, DH-Fine

Ectopic 2007; lost tube/2nd tube removed Dec 2011 (hydro)

April 2012=IVF#1- EPP Antag+ICSI, 2R,0F (BFN), Now dx’d with DOR.

June-July 2012=IVF#2- MDL+ICSI&AH, 8R,4M,3F (BFP 9dp3dt) Beta#1 at 11dp3dt=36, Beta#2 at 15dp3dt=156, Beta#3 at 19dp3dt=671, dx'd with SCH, no growth-m/c at 7wks/Lap Dec 2012 to remove small fibroid.

Feb 2013=IVF#3-MDL, 2/1=baseline, started 10 units mdl, AFC-7, 2/3 start gonal f, self cxld cycle b/c of low e2.

April 2013=IVF#3.5-(with new RE)AG/ANT Conv + ICSI. 4/10-4/23 bcp's, 4/20-4/27 lupron, 4/28-ganirelix until end of stimming, 5/2-600 gonal f, 5/4-add 1/2 vial menopur, 5/13-ER (9R,1M,1F), 5/17-ET, 1 beautiful 8 cell (please be my sticky baby!!!!) 5/28-BFFN.

Oct 2013=IVF#4-LLP+ICSI &AH, 10/14 (6R, 2M, 2F), 10/17-ET, 1 seven cell & a six cell, BFP at 9dp3dt, 1st beta=56, 2nd beta=52, CP.

Jan 2014=IVF #5-LLP, Cxld after 6 days of stims due to fast response and lead follicle. 

March 2014=IVF 5.5-LLP, Lupron 3/10, BL 3/18, 11 days of stims, Trigger 3/29, ER 3/31. 7R, 2M, 2F. ET 4/3. Txfd one 5 cell & one 9 cell. BFP on hpt from 7dp3dt & on. Praise be to God. Beta #1 at 11dp3dt=106, #2 at 13dp3dt=239. First u/s 4/28, measuring on track & heartbeat seen. 5/5-2nd u/s, measuring on track with strong heartbeat. 5/12- 3rd u/s & released from RE. Grow baby grow, we love you! Baby G&T is a BOY! Born 12/2014 via c/s! 8lbs, 8oz & 21 inches.

    Hi, Grateful.  I continued for two or three weeks after my BFP, then stopped, not because I didn't like it but because it wasn't particularly convenient for me.  I might resume at some point if I get uncomfortable and think it might bring some relief.  A good fertility acupuncturist will adjust for specific complaints (such as digestion, swelling, back pain).

    During my last pregnancy I did acupuncture well into my 2nd trimester. I loved it, I just couldn't afford it anymore. I would still be going if it weren't so costly.

    TTC for 1.5 years with a crappy RE. 12 cycles with clomid (11 too many)
    New RE, 3 failed IUI's moving to IVF with ICSI

    I stopped around the time of my IUI as my acupuncturist did not do treatments during the TWW. Once I got my bfp, I was afraid to go, so I waited until I saw the heartbeat. I went back to get treatments for morning sickness and 3 of them did the trick. I haven't been back since mostly due to cost, but I'm thinking I may go once or twice in the next week or so because I'm so uncomfortable.

    8/2013 - IUI #2: 50 units Follistim +  Ovidrel  = BFP! Beta #1 (12 dpiui) 8/21: 45  Beta #2 (16 dpiui) 8/26: 301 Beta #3 (21 dpiui) 8/30: 1,929. 1st Ultrasound 9/4 - One perfect sac. 2nd Ultrasound 9/13 - Heartbeat at 124 bpm! Anniversary

    Thank you guys! It's so hard because I'm getting conflicting advice. I have been doing it weekly since early January. It's not my favorite thing to do. It's also expensive so I'd like to stop but I'm worried that it may cause a m/c if I stop. After all we have been through to get here, I'm sure you guys understand where I'm coming from. Thanks again.

    I have continued acupuncture since my BFP and credit it with A LOT. I believe it helped to reduce my SCH at a faster pace (I read online they often don't dissipate until 16 or 20 weeks, while mine was gone at 10.) It also keeps my anxiety at bay. I'm high risk as a twin pregnancy with a LEEP and will do anything that may help!

    Maybe I'm the odd one out, but I really didn't like acupuncture! I did it for 4 months before my BFP and continued it for only a session or two after the BFP. I stopped because I really just didn't care for it AND by that point, I REALLY just wanted to feel normal. I was adamant that "normal" pregnant people don't do acupuncture before conceiving, let alone continue it throughout pregnancy, so I wasn't going to either.  

    Fortunately, I'm 19 weeks and all is still well, but I do wonder if something would have gone wrong, if I would have blamed myself for stopping it.
    Me (31) - PCOS with insulin resistance

    4 rounds of Clomid = no response
    IVF # 1 - ET (1 3AA, 4 frosties): 12/22 = BFP
    EDD: 9/9/2014

    I started accupuncture 2 weeks before our 2nd IUI. I've been sticking with it because I have horrible morning sickness and it does seem to make things slightly better, plus it does have a calm and relaxing effect on me. I fall asleep for about 1/2 of the appointment. I will be stopping in the next few weeks (near the end of my first tri) - as others mentioned it really is because of the cost.

    Yes, and I plan to continue until 12 weeks. In addition to increasing blood flow to the uterus I find it relaxing, it curbs icky symptoms and my practitioner is affordable.

    With DD I kept going because I had an SCH. Mine too was gone by 10 weeks.

    With this one I went after the transfer and that was it. My "guy" told me there was no reason to go back unless I had an issue like last time.
