Slightly Risqué Poll of the Day: How Well Do You Know Your Lady Bits?

Gearing back up to TTGP, I find myself getting back to my checking of cervical position etc ways. I know it's a bit odd, but after hanging out on TTGP, I feel like a good number of ladies know their way around their cervixes and the like. Do you?

Heck yes! I tell the gyno what's what.

I'm relatively knowledgeable - I suppose I could find my cervix if I really wanted to.

Kind of well - but I'd rather not give it too much thought.

Definitely not my wheel-house - I know there are bits, and they're down there somewhere.

I thought I had read on TTGP that you really shouldn't check your cervix that often.  Bacteria and all.
I think plenty of people over there check CP daily (I know I did for ages - with my super irregular cycles, I needed all the secondary signs I could get!).  As long as you wash your hands before checking, and don't do it if you've got a yeast infection or something like that, I don't think it's a problem?  Maybe you can linky me?

  • I do because I was on TTGP board for a few months but before that I didn't know I could touch it. I do check it around the time I should be Ovulating.

  • I'm very in tune with my body. I know this might sound weird, but there's a small percentage of women who can feel themselves ovulate, and feel implantation, and I'm one of them. I knew before I even took a pregnancy test that I was pregnant- and I knew what side the egg came from. lol

  • Ditto @Beary+Ghastly‌ I'm another that can feel ovulation and implantation. It's crazy weird.

  • I didn't know this was a thing either. When my Obgyn checked my cervix I felt like she was reaching for organs in my stomach it hurt like a bitch. I would never voluntarily do that!

It is *nothing* like that. At all. That is a special kind of hellish pain. Checking your own doesn't hurt in the slightest!
