FINALLY reunited! =)

Born at 25+0, our sweet babies will be 11 weeks old tomorrow and I was finally able to hold them both at the same time.

Although they were sleepy and couldn't really interact with one another, it was such an incredible that filled both my arms and heart. Our son will be heading back to the OR tomorrow to have his bowels reconnected, so I'm extremely thankful I got a chance to do this today.

He is a little chunk--especially considering they both started off less than 2lbs. DS is currently 6lbs & DD is 5lbs. And as you can tell, they look nothing alike.

Isn't it so interesting how the genes play out? Looks like your DD is much fairer than your DS. You might be surprised though how much they change over time. My DD looked so much like my husband when she was first born and now everyone says she's my clone. They keep us on our toes!

Aw Amanda! I remember you. Fellow may mama here. So glad they are making progress. I'll be thinking of Camden today and hoping for a fast recovery after his surgery!
