LOs pee smells like cereal milk

Ok it's been a looooong time since I've been back on the board but I know my company here will be more helpful than Dr. Google.

Does anyone else think their LOs urine smells like cereal milk? DS is FF and I've noticed his wet diapers usually smell like sweetened cereal milk. Dr. Google says it could be a number of scary things but I just wanted to see if I'm in like company here or should make an appt with my ped to discuss.  We don't go back until his 4 month well baby visit next month.

ME (34) Secondary/unexplained IF, DH(35) MFI w/varicocele repair
DS conceived NTNP; born 1/8/14 
TTC 5/15
TI w/Clomid 12/16, 1/17, 2/17
OB ordered SA 2/17 and referred to RE for MFI - Low Count/Motility
DH Varicocele repair 6/17. 
9/17 SA: count improved
TI w/Letrozole 9/17, 10/17
IUI#1 11/17 BFN
IUI#2 Christmas day :'( Canceled due to low count/poor sample  :'(
IVF#1 w/ICSI: 3/18 BCP, Lupron down reg, Follistim 300IU, LDHCG 10units, Lupron 5units, Ovidrel trigger on 3/18. ER 3/21
8 retrieved, 5 mature, 3 smaller no fertilization w/IVF. 3/5 fertilized w/ICSI. Day 5 Fresh transfer scheduled 3/26 or day3 on Saturday if any arrest.

    @peanutmuse yes and we never heard anything about it. (Your post about Brennon made me think if I should be more concerned and I'm glad to hear his condition isn't as scary as it could have been)

    Yeah, because the sweet smelling urine would be a warning sign of that particular disorder. It is far more likely that it is one of a million other minor things, but obviously my perspective on this is different than others' might be. I would call the pediatrician.

    Sorry to hijack but this thread got me thinking.

    To me, DDs urine smells like my breastmilk, (when I've noticed it) which has a sweet kind of smell to it. Is this how it is supposed to smell? I didn't think much of it because that is all that she is eating.

    Thoughts @peanutmuse‌ ?

    @km_md -- I am not an expert on this, for sure. He didn't end up having the MSUD. But FWIW, Brennon's urine doesn't really smell like much.

    Thanks for replying @peanutmuse. MSUD was part of DDs newborn screen and she doesn't really have any of the symptoms so I'm not going to worry about it. I'm sure she just has some more concentrated urine at times and is EBF so some of that smell should be normal.
