I was given 2 different baby carriers from friends, one is a Baby Bjorn and the other is a Snugli. Neither were ever worn so are practically brand new. One had the instructions (thank goodness!) and the other one didn't. Not rocket science, but still not as easy as slipping on a backpack. I was cracking myself up in the mirror trying to put these contraptions on! I think I've figured them out now, but wish I had a baby doll to practice on! Haha! I may have to hijack one of my nieces at Easter!!
Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

We picked up a Beco Baby Gemini after a good friend recommended it and have been happy with it. His wife even did a (modified) cross-fit workout while wearing one! It provides good support for baby's hips and grows with them too (plus the ability to wear baby in front, on back, or on the side).

Under the "Baby Harness" section, the Bjorn does what is pictured in the "not recommended" part. There is a newer design of the Bjorn, not sure what it's called, that supposedly remedies this but there are so many better designed carriers out there that do what is recommended (Ergo is a popular one). Worth looking into more closely.
I stuffed a teddy bear in it to be my baby!!

The infant insert is necessary, right?

That's why I'm glad we have the boba 3G. You can use it for nb but don't need an insert. We didn't have it when DS was that young but I'm eager to try it.
