to start, I'm already doing the heathly diet and trying not to pig out as much as I did last time, plus I'm gonna keep up my exercising more. That, and my doc gave me to go-ahead last time to eat deli meat as long as it was solid meat (ie, chicken, turkey, etc) and I ate it within 3 days.
Can't go without my nitrate free chicken sanwiches!
I used Dr Google all of the time last pregnancy. So far I've been staying away....I'm trying not to worry about every single weird symptom (or lack there of) this time around. Dr Google made me crazy and I went in to see the OB for such silly things last time.
Hm not sure. I don't think I'll do much different. If i get GD I will have no choice diet wise. I will relax and enjoy the kicks more this time. I won't fret about going into labor. I will sit down and ask for help if I need it. That's about it. Live and learn. I don't need to be super woman.

I hope I don't crave sweets as much as last time...so far they sound terrible, so that's a plus. Otherwise I hope to be less freaked out about what I'm eating this time.
This is probably our last pregnancy so I am really going to soak it up and enjoy every moment of it. I will watch my diet and try to exercise more this time though and I think I will just be more active since it will be summer time. I gained 25 with the first and 26 with the second. I am already up higher than my previous starting weights so I would like to keep that in check.
Oh and we are Team Green this time which is different too!
December 2014 November Siggy Challenge: How I Feel in Third Tri
I'm starting off this pregnancy heavier than I was with my first, so because of that I am trying to make healthier choices as much as I can (especially now since nausea hasn't set in yet), however I'm not going to stress too much if I fall off that wagon. I had a relatively easy first pregnancy so I don't think I'll do much differently this time around. I am going to try to enjoy the process a little more and hopefully not wish away the time so much. I think it will be slightly easier this pregnancy since I work full time now and have DS at home keeping me constantly busy.
I was so obsessive about weight gain with DD1. Every time I would be up another pound, I would cry and be really upset for a few days. I didn't really let myself indulge ever, and was just stressed by the whole body changing. I was overweight to begin with, so I gained less than 10lbs which was great, but I'm not sure if it was worth how much pressure I put on myself. This time around, I am starting off 30lbs lighter, and while I'm going to be mindful of what I'm eating, I'm not going to freak out so much about gaining weight. I'm also going to read up a lot about breastfeeding. It didn't work out with DD1, mainly because I was just clueless and didn't seek out help. I want to be prepared to give it my best shot this time.
Going to try to relax more once I get a little further along. Staying away from artificial sweeteners--I actually haven't had any Diet Coke (sad!) since January 20, and keeping strong. I didn't have a lot last pg, but I did every now and then.

Well, with my DD I really couldn't relax and enjoy my pregnancy. I went from one issues to another. Between PTL, IUGR, low amniotic fluid, and some other issues I was constantly stressed. Let's just say I hope I have an easier time and I'm able to just enjoy being pregnant.
I absolutely hated being pregnant the first time. With hyperemesis and then gaining a ton after finally finding a med that made me stop puking, I was just miserable and I don't envy anyone who had to be around me. As of now, I have no nausea, so I'm trying to be more positive and enjoy it more. I also want to eat better and be a better advocate for myself when I really need something (like Zofran).

I am obsessing a lot more this time around. I am much more antsy to tell our family! Diet wise though still about the same and this time around I will definitely not be scared to workout...last time even yoga freaked me out in the first trimester. (silly, I know)
I plan to really enjoy this pregnancy. Last pregnancy DH and I were not married yet, so we had to deal with both of our very conservative families opinions about children outside of wedlock. This time I plan on celebrating this pregnancy the way every woman should be able to. On top of that my DH is in the Army Reserves and was away the first 6 months of my pregnancy, so I was doing it all on my own. This time, I plan to take full advantage of his presence.
Other than that, definitely eating healthier and continuing to exercise. Last time I completely stopped exercising and it was so difficult to get my strength back after having DS (and never completely got my figure back).
I'm trying to stress less. I've peed on way more sticks this time, because we tried for 10 months and only got pregnant after a medicated cycle, so I almost can't believe it still. I'm not googling every little thing this time because I remember the answers from last time.
I won't be researching natural birth this time, because we are doing a repeat c-section. We will schedule our birth rather than going to a doctor's appointment and being told we were going to have to have the baby three weeks early. I will insist on better monitoring toward the end to ensure the fluid is not leaking the way it did last time - I told the doctor and the nurse I thought something was wrong and they both shrugged it off. Different doctor this time too.
We will be doing the tests for abnormalities this time, which we didn't do last time, mainly because I'm older and just want to know in advance if there are going to be issues we need to prepare for.
This will be my last pregnancy, as I'm getting my tubes tied during the c-section, so I'm going to try to enjoy it.
I was pretty active with DD, but still gained over 50lbs (I am at the top of normal BMI to start). This time around, I will probably focus more on portion sizes and sugar intake. The better weather should help me stay active (I like to run), but we'll see what happens once symptoms fully set in. It took me about 18 months and a pretty intense workout regime and weight watchers after having DD to finally get back to pre-pregnancy weight, so hopefully I can make it so I'll have less to lose this time around.
I will also be doing more research into the beginning stages of breastfeeding since I struggled with under supply the entire 15 months of breastfeeding with DD.
I've eliminated caffeine, cut back on sugary drinks, increased my water intake, and hope to walk a mile every weekday.
I'm thin when I'm not pregnant, but tend to gain about 35 pounds with each pregnancy. I would really love to be able to get back into shape by the time my LO is 3 months old.
