One & Done: Only child

Etsy

So i ordered a shirt for DS's birthday from etsy. It has minions, his name, and a number 2. I received it in the mail today and it is the poorest quality of a tee shirt i have ever seen. Like see through. Really bad. I hope it lasts through the day of his birthday.... WWYD?

Re: Etsy

  • :(  I would message the seller, and then based on their response, blast them on the seller feedback thing.

  • I would totally send a message to the seller and ask them if they can either do better or let you return it.

  • Ok, so i did leave a review with 1 star. I pointed out all of the positives, and only mentioned that I was disappointed in the poor fabric quality. Everything else really was super cute.

@M&MHaveMyHeart your right it is too late to re-order but the onsie is a great idea!!
  • I would complain to the seller, definitely. Hopefully you can get your money back.

If you are worried the shirt won't last the party, I saw a cute Minion shirt in Old Navy this weekend. (Not sure if you have one near you or not) https://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?vid=1&pid=954047002
I JUST WENT TO OLD NAVY SATURDAY!! I didn't see this :( boo. Oh well i will let him wear it that one day and then my guess is it will be trashed.

I will order this one for him to just have though!! Thanks :)

    Just a suggestion -

Keep the shirt and don't have him wear it again (not that he could if it was poor quality).  I've ordered a special shirt for my daughter for each of her birthdays (name or initial, years old, and favorite character/item) and I keep them.  I am hoping to make a t-shirt quilt out of them when she is a teenager (16th b-day or graduation).  I imagine this might be hard when she is old enough to think this is a stupid idea, but I may still order the shirt and not make her wear it. :)
