20 week U/S today!

As the subject header would indicate, I am having my 20-week ultrasound today! DH and I are excited, but also a little nervous. This will be the first time we've seen our teeny little super guy since 8 weeks.

Any info/advice about what to expect?

They will take lots of measurements. Head, heart, arms, legs, spine, feet, etc. No real advice for you other than just enjoy it. The whole process is pretty amazing.

Good luck! We arent having ours till the 2nd week of May. Thats got to be an exciting and yet sorta scary feeling :-) Let us all know how it goes!

Mine is two weeks from Wednesday and I can't wait! Basically what everyone else said, lots of measurements. In Canada you don't get to see anything till after they are done everything. You American ladies are lucky to get to watch the entire thing.

Update (I tried to edit the title of the post, but couldn't figure it out...) -

Everything looked good. All organs in place and working and measuring right on time. Unfortunately our little man was a total stinker the whole time and refused to flip over to give the tech a good "profile picture" (as she called it). As a result, we have no good photos. We have a photo of his skull and his "package", lol.

He moved a lot and the funniest part was when he kept trying to hide behind my placenta. He was "fluffing" it with his hands like a blanket, almost like he was trying to cover up with it. He was so anti-social....just like mom and dad.
