@ChickenOnSunday‌ they've let me do a lot of skin to skin, but haven't put her to breast yet. I'm hoping we can try today. Her IV line is out which should make it easier. She's also shown interest in sucking on the pacifier, so that's promising

So glad you can hold her! Every wire and line that gets removed is a victory! Are you pumping next to her isolette?

I would suggest having a lactation consultant with you when they do let you put her to the breast. I realize this is your 3rd kid but you are going to want all hands on board.

Now that I've been discharged I'll be pumping in her room most of the time. I've been pumping every 2 hours around the clock and I'm starting to get some milk now.

They do have LC's in the NICU and I've already met one of them. I will definitely ask that they be here when we try to put her to breast. I was able to nurse DS2, but he was full term. I feel like she's so small that I'm afraid I'll break her!
