Blue lips

Anyone taking hbp meds (Procardia ER and Labetalol) that have caused their lips to turn light blue? It's suppose to be safe for breastfeeding; however, I feel that if it's causing this known side effect as well as edema, I don't think it's safe for my LO. I want to get off of these meds. I'm trying hard to get rid of the weight and stress so I can get back to being without meds as I was 10 years ago. Needless to say, I don't want my baby getting any effects. Doctors say she's very healthy.

    I don't know about the safety for the baby, but if your lips are turning blue and you are having edema, you need to see your doctor asap and have your dose or medication adjusted.
