Just found this - my coworker is bringing them in for a concert in September, and they're pretty great.

ETA for clarification - Passover begins next Monday night, so I'm starting to see lots of parody videos around on YouTube based on popular songs and the holiday of Passover - this video happens to be a tribute to the songs of Frozen, sung with lyrics having to do with the Jewish holiday of Passover.

That's a great idea... I'm hosting first night seder, and people are asking me what to bring. I don't even know what I'm making yet. Ugh. I did get my 5-pack of matzah today, so at least I have a start!

yes a Passover menu! so far I have made 4 briskets (so much brisket), and this weekend I am making my apple matzah kugel (which is amazing as far as a non-noodle kugel can be), Passover brownies, and Passover raspberry crumble bars

So matzah is, at it's essence, a cracker - just flour and water that is baked for 18 minutes so as to avoid any fermentation or rising.

Matzah Ball soup is a little different - one of the ways we manage the food restrictions during passover is to get creative with the foods we can eat. One of which is matzah meal - basically matzah ground down to a meal consistency, and then manipulated. So matzah balls are most like dumplings - you take matzah meal, oil, salt, etc. and make them into balls, then cook in soup.

@chickpea912‌ my mouth is watering at that picture of matzah ball soup. I might have to get me some of that... preferably before Passover so I can have bagel chips with it mmmmmm. also egg matzah > regular matzah. with lots of butter.

and here's recipes! I've never made the chocolate matzah but it can't be bad right?

We're having second night Seder at my house. Matza ball soup, chicken, roasted veggie souffle, Gefilte fish, sweet potato kugel and my great-aunts Passover cookies

Check out Six13 (from the video I posted) - they're great - I'd say better than Maccabeats. We're bringing them in September.

I just bought my brisket today. 3.2 KG was the smallest they had!! Gonna be some leftovers! Lol

I always love how we look forward to Pesach and the Seder until about day 4 when you can't poop and crave a big fresh loaf of bread!

I have to disagree about it tasting like cardboard! We always have it in the house. It's delicious with butter
