After 18 weeks of bedrest I finally got the ok to be active again. I had my cerclage removed yesterday (it was far less painful than I thought it would be) I had my last 17p injection last Thursday so that should be wearing off sometime tomorrow. I haven't had very many contractions, just a few Braxton Hicks and one or two "real deal" contractions.
It was a long long bedrest experience for my dh and I. The only thing that kept me in bed was knowing that I was doing what was best for our LO. Even though my OB had mixed feelings about br (no "scientific proof" that br actually works) he knew that for my own peace of mind I needed to try everything I possibly could to keep our baby growing on the inside for as long as possible.
We'll be 37weeks tomorrow (started br @19w) and we are so excited that we could be holding our little girl in our arms in just a few days... if not this week then definitely next because I'll be induced next Wed if she doesn't make an appearance soon.
@tracint how is it going? Are you doing the waiting game still? I'm being tortured by prodromal/early labor stuff and struggling to cope. Please keep us updated on life post cerclage!

Hi @haziedaze. Hi ladies. I'm still waiting... I've had a few "real deal" contractions but nothing in a regular pattern. I'm still having Braxton Hicks like crazy though and I've only lost small pieces of my mucous plug...womp womp.
The Dr did schedule us for induction next Wednesday though. My bp has continued to get slightly higher every appointment and the swelling is still ridiculous (no protein in the urine though so yeah! for that). I'm still hoping that baby girl will make an appearance sometime this weekend... I'd like to avoid induction if possible.
I would've been due for my 17p injection this morning, so I'm keeping my fx that the absence of the progesterone will kick start something. I'm soooooo ready!!
Hope all you lovely br mommas are doing well. Hang in there:)
Right there with you @tracint, I'm now 11 days without 17P and thought for sure I would be done. Lots of false starts but no real dice yet... who knew bedrest would end up like this! I'm enjoying going for walks and taking long showers though.

So, I had my last Dr's appointment this morning!! Wooo!! I'm still only 1.5cm dilated:/ but induction is scheduled for Wednesday!!
I hope all you br moms are doing well. Stay positive, I know it's not easy, but being where we are today I have zero regrets about sticking to the bedrest. Hang in there ladies.
Just more prodromal labor here... I have a doc appt and NST today but unless something's majorly changed there should be no reason to induce until 41 weeks. I think I may be in for a long haul! So excited for you @tracint hoping your induction goes well. Please keep us posted (do you post on any other boards where I should be stalking you?)

Hey ladies, just popping in to say hi! Congrats on ditching the stitch, @tracint, and good luck with the induction! Congrats on making it so far @haziedaze! Hope the rest of your pregnancies go well
I am still pregnant at 40w4d and will be induced on Thursday at 41w if she doesn't arrive on her own before then. I saw my dr today and I'm 4cm already so he doesn't think I'll make it to Thursday, but no one really thought we'd make it this far anyway, so who knows!!
@MissChanandlerBong, I was just thinking about you the other day!! It's crazy that you're going to be 41wks already!! Lol and our Dr's thought we couldn't stay pg for very long without the cerclages.... Good luck, best wishes, and lots of t&p for your upcoming l&d!!! Update when you can
Yeah my doctor was joking with me and said, "so you didn't need the 17P afterall" I think he saw my face fall and quickly laughed and said, "No, don't worry, it doesn't work like that!" I wasn't sure whether to laugh or be pissed, but yeah, I can't believe I'm still pregnant!

I'm excited for you ladies and it also gives me hope! Can't wait to see your pics. Are they inducing for a vaginal or c-section @tracint? Did your little ones hangout so low? Ugh I have a uterus that almost reaches my ribs please move baby! I have my 2 week apt. With MFM on Thursday. I'm looking forward to making sure cervix is closed and that this baby hanging out so low is ok. I am also curious if we will start Nst yet or do the steroids which has been a possibility. Keep cooking baby we've made it to 26!
Started ttc may 2012 Me:32. Dh:31
SA- 4% morphology
Fsh:9.1 possibly not always ovulating
Hysteroscopy/lLap 7/13 resulted in polyp removal, uterine septum, and mild endo stage 1 removed
10/13 IVF #1 successful
Glad everyone is providing some good updates. I saw my Doctor for my weekly high risk appointment and found out I went from being dilated just 1 cm on the outside and closed on the inside of my cervix. To now being 2 cm dilated on the outside and 1 cm dilated on the inside. I'm 31 weeks tomorrow, so I'm hoping this little guy will quite literally hang in there for another 5-6 weeks.
I'm so glad you guys are having such positive things happen!! It's helping keep me positive!! After seeing my MFM on Monday, I was diagnosed with IUGR. So that was a bit unnerving, the baby has been fine up until now, and the bed rest has only been for my own health. I wasn't expecting the added stress of something being wrong with my baby too. So I'm upping my protein and calcium intake in hopes that that will help my lil guy put on weight over the next three weeks! I will have NST done twice a week to make sure he's still doing okay in there.
@Tracint I think you were going to be induced today? Hope it's going well... thinking of you tons and can't wait for you to meet your termie, healthy rainbow!

Hi ladies. I'll post a longer version of our total experience later, but i'll give you the quick fun facts now.
Zoie Love was born on Wed. April 16th at 2:24pm. She weighed 7lbs 10oz and is 19.5in longg. She's precious and dh and I are overwhelmingly thankful that she's home with us.... our beautiful rainbow baby....
Yay @tracint
I have news too Liam Alexander was born this morning at 644 weighing 6lbs 11oz at 38 w5d. He's almost twice his brothers birth weight and cooked 9 weeks longer! We were blessed with an easy quick delivery. Can't wait to get home!

Our little squish, Madison Ann, was born Thursday 4/17 at 12:25pm weighing 7 lbs. 6 oz. and 20.5" long. I was 41w and had to be induced. It was an overall quick delivery, we got there around 7AM, they broke my water at 8AM, I got an epidural at around 10AM, and I pushed for half an hour before she was born. Ended up with a 2nd degree tear and stitches, but what can do you. Besides a little discomfort from that, I am feeling great! We came home yesterday and she is just amazing. We are so in love!
Every day I still cannot believe that we went from a 23-weeker with a 4 month NICU stay to being induced at 41w and having a take-home baby. Miracles do happen (and bed rest/progesterone/cerclages work!!)!
Thanks to everyone for helping keep me sane during bed rest. I loved being able to chat with other mommas going through a similar time. Best of luck to everyone still on bed rest - stay strong, you can do it, and it is so worth it in the end!
I'm 30+3 with di/di boys and a thinning and dilating cervix. I'm dilated to 2cm and just trying to keep them in until 34 weeks, though 32 is better than now. On strict at home bedrest, though if the contractions come back I'll be back in the hospital.
@MissChanandlerBong so, so happy for you!! I can't believe you had to be induced either, but yeaj for a full term, healthy baby. It's the best feeling in the world! I'm finding that I'm so happy/excited that it's making my recovery easier. The pedi asked today how I was feeling hormone/mood wise and I was like, "Great! My baby is 2 days old and spent last night at home, there's no better feeling in the world!"
