Silly pgal brain on overdrive

So I have no real reason that pgal brain should be going crazy! I had a good appointment last Thursday. The only thing two things I can think of is switching back to ob and not have ultra sounds weekly along with the anziety of just being where we found out about pregnancy #1. Also woke up yesterday and today to see belly was basically gone. I know that's absord concerning only 9w5ds. But I have had a good belly start since week 7 then almost nothing. The logical me knows that a developed belly doesn't stay until after baby is 12w or more. However the pgal brain says I am going to loose this baby too bc I am not developing...stupid I know!

((HUGS)) Sorry your PGAL brain is in overdrive. I had a good appt on Thursday too & have had major PGAL all weekend. I hope you feel better soon. When is your next scan?

I think that might be part of it. I don't know if we will get one until our early anatomy scan around 17 weeks. Patience/ worrying is something I have been working on for awhile now. Thank you both for your responses! I love that you all make me feel less alone in this!

I know what it feels like. I had ultrasounds at 6, 8 and then 12 weeks. Those 4 weeks of waiting in between killed me. Also about the belly, that happened to me. I was very bloated, and suddenly it went away and I thought I lost it, but the "real" belly didn't appear until 14 weeks

I hope you can find something that keep your mind entertain from "bad thoughts"! Hugs.

Aw.. I feel ya @whiterose05. I will be transferring from my RE to a regular OB after 2 more visits & I am already freaking out a little. If you can't keep yourself from worrying, maybe you can call you Dr & explain your situation. Maybe they can get you in for a scan to ease your mind? GL!

Also, I don't know if this happens to anyone, but my belly in the morning is much smaller than my belly at night. I think it is me the one loosing my mind....

I will join the PGaL crazy brain train... I am sorry that you are going thru this, but you are certainly not alone. I had a great scan last Tuesday (doc even said I have less than 5% MC this time). But my next appointment is not for 2 weeks (10 weeks). This will also be my last appointment with my RE and then I will graduate to my OB.. I know there will be tears. I don't want to leave my RE, I love her and her staff. But we worked in the yard (me very little, but some) all weekend, and now I'm terrified.

I hope you are able to sneak in and see your LO so you can calm your nerves. Keep us updated. ((Hugs))

((Hugs)) I know exactly how you feel. PgAL brain sucks! I went in last week and got to hear the heartbeat by doppler, but now I have to wait until next week for another appointment and to hear it again. Two weeks seems like forever, and of course PgAL brain goes into overdrive assuming the worst will happen during this wait time.

I wouldn't be too concerned about the belly. Before 12 weeks it's mostly bloat anyway! You probably won't have your real bump start popping out until you're in your "teen" weeks. I know how you feel, though! I'm 12 weeks today and my stomach is pretty normal-ish. I also get concerned that my boobs haven't grown in size yet, when my best friend's boobs practically blew up the moment she got her BFP. Trying not to worry about it too much though! Pregnancy symptoms are different for everyone.

I'm getting the PGAL brain too lately, even though I had a good US last week I'm starting to get anxious as 12 weeks gets closer because that's when we found out about our MMC. And I get biweekly checks til 14 weeks but I'm already nervous for dropping down to monthly appointments! It's going to be weird to go from all of the RE appointments and then biweekly OB appointments to absolutely nothing for a month. Oh and my bloat belly also comes and goes, so you're not crazy

So sorry you're feeling this way. We all do at one point or another. I agree with what PPs have said about the "belly" being bloat. I have been noticing that my belly gets bigger or smaller depending on how bloated I am from day to day. Any belly you've had this far is due to bloating, gas, or water retention and nothing to do with how LO or your uterus are developing (since LO is only the size of an olive at this point). With the one full-term pregnancy I've had, I didn't start "showing" until 20 weeks. It's totally normal to gain little to no weight in these early weeks and some people even lose weight due to morning sickness. Anyway, I hope this helps. Sending ((hugs)) your way.

I am going crazy too!!! I keep getting my blood taken just so I can check that the betas are going up. I have to wait until 7 weeks for my first ultrasound since DH and I are going on vacation during my 6th week. I am so mad!!! Of course we planned this trip months ago so how was I to know that we would be 6 weeks pregnant? Ughhhh pgal brain stinks!!!!!
