Just curious what your baby's hair is doing...

For those of you whose babies were born with lots of hair, what has it done since birth? Has some or all fallen out? Has it gotten longer, changed color?

For those with bald babies, is your baby still bald or is hair staying to grow?

Or its your baby's hair seem the same length, thickness and color since birth?

It still looks the same as at birth, thin on top and longer in the back. When it's clean, it's a really light brown.

Amelia has definitely lost a lot of her hair. When she was born she had a bunch of black hair and it has thinned out - except for a small patch on the upper part of the back of her neck. I call it her rat tail. It's about an inch long! If her whole head was like that I would be able to use cute hair clips and stuff.

My daughters is about the same as birth. She didn't have a ton to begin with, and a good amount rubbed off the sides. She was left with an alfalfa shock on top and the mullet in the back. It did lighten up a bit a couple days after she was born. The hair fuzz on the sides of her head are getting longer, but they're the whitest blonde so she still looks bald

In pictures, her hair looks super reddish blonde. In person, it usually just looks blonde with a hint of strawberry.

Annaclaire was born with a good bit of light brown hair. In the past few weeks she's been losing it on the top. More like thinning out, I guess. The bottom and sides are still thick and brown and she has that little rat tail too! We call it her old man haircut because from far away it looks like she only has hair on the top and sides. Headbands and hats are getting a lot of use lately...

Looks to be the same length but thinner (due to his head growing and his hair spreading out is my guess). I do think it's lightened up, though. It's not very long, but he does have some hair.

Holland has a bit more hair now than when she was born. But she has rubbed a bit of a bald stripe in the back.

ANNNDDD my mom noticed that her hair is now really looking RED! What!!?? How did I not realize how red it is until she pointed it out? Crazy! Now its all I see. I have no idea where the red came from though because no one in the fam has red hair. It will be interesting to see if it stays this color.

Her hair was long and thick when she was born and it's still the same, maybe a tad longer. It has certainly lightened up though, it was almost black when she was born and now it's a medium brown.

Dd had lots of hair, long dark brown at birth. She had a bald on the top front though. I thought her hair would fall out. It has only gotten longer and the bald spot is filling in. It does seem to be lightening up a little. She does have a spot on the back of head from sleeping where the hair is rubbed off a little, but the longer hair covers it.

Charlotte has about the same amount of hair at birth but it's lightening for sure! A little hair loss but only some strands here and there. Her hair shows signs of being curly when it's wet, I'm so curious what it will look like when she's a bit older!!

Has anyone experienced eye color change? They're still newborn blue over here!

LO has was only born with dark brown peach fuzz. Most has rubbed off, and what is left is light brown. But! He has long brown hair at the nape of his neck. It almost looks like a horizontal stripe. We call it his "skullet"

It's gotten darker in the back and just a bit darker on top. We were hoping he would stay blonde like daddy. His hair has definitely grown and is getting a lot thicker in the back. The back is like a fuzzy puppy and really soft. The top is thinner and stringy (still soft) but I can spike it.

The top where she had some hair is now getting longer and is filling in, but the back where she was born with a lot is now balding since she likes to rub her head back and forth when she's laid down...

@Mjamison1020 still blue over here, but they are a lighter blue now. I think she may stay blue. Dh has grey blue greenish eyes and mine are hazel.

@Cara1024‌ this is us! A little rubbed off- and definitely a "red" undertone- all the kids and grandchildren on my families side have been born blonde! So her darker brown and red hair is a first! ( there were 4 kids and 9 grandchildren!).

Brennon is still a ginger. He lost some -- like a really bad receding hairline -- but now it's moved slightly past the peach fuzz stage of regrowth.

My hair is curly and my husband's is wavy, and B's gets wavy when he's sweaty. My mpm said that's how my curl started. A curly ginger, haha.

DD was born with a a little bit of hair. It was a light brown with a reddish hint to it.

She started losing her hair a few weeks later and ended up with a hairstyle something like George Costanza has lol

The hair never all fell out but she started growing new hair pretty quickly. She's got about the amount of hair she had at birth now. Maybe a little more. And I can't even tell what colour it is for sure but I think it's still that light brown with a hint of red.

DD's hair is flat to her head in the front and them there's a tuft and a lot of hair in the back...so strange...looks like a monkey! A little has fallen out where her head lies on her mattress. But, not a lot...getting longer up top. Hard to explain..it's strange!

DS has blond hair, and it has started to grow more; especially on the top of his head. The blond was a shock to my DH and I because DH is half Chinese. I guess my genes dominated!

He was born with a receding hair line, where he had a ton of hair in the back and the middle top part of his head, but nothing by his forehead. Now his hair is starting to fill out up front and he's getting a widow's peak.

He had a reddish tint to his hair. But I haven't really noticed it too much lately. It's looking more straight brown.

Ethan was born with a TON of hair and it hasn't gone anywhere (thankfully!). His hair was jet black to begin with and now I'm noticing some lighter streaks of brown mixed in. It's still growing, so he now has a mullet of sorts

His hair had some pretty crazy directions when he was born, so I've been trying to "train" it by brushing it in a very sauce, manly do

. He definitely has his daddy's hairline (all the boys on DH's side have the same hairline where it comes to a peak on the forehead but recedes on the sides) but mommy's think/wavy hair.

My LO was born with scant hair...it fell out at about 3wks pp, and came back in dark brown after that. But its still pretty thin and short, with a little thicker patch on the back of his neck!

Mia was born with a lot of hair and seems to be adding more as she gets older. It's currently doing this funky messy look, but when it's wet, it curls up. It does look like she's losing some in the back, though. It's dark brown and hasn't lightened up since she was born.

My DS was born with a good amount of dark but fine hair like my husbands. It's so cute and staticky! The colour has slowly lightened which makes it also look like it may have thinned a tiny bit but so hard for me to tell.

This. I don't think he lost it. I think it didn't grow but his head has.

His hair is pretty much exactly how it was when he was born. Maybe a little thinner, but a barely noticeable change.

baby girl was born with lots of black hair and it has only gotten longer since then, its starting to go over her ears. Little man was born with lots of dark brown hair but lost almost all of it on top, its growing back in now same color but now the sides have thinned out haha.

Vivienne had hair when she was born, it was very long. Some spots have fallen out, and hair is growing back. She looks like Jack Nicholson a lot, haha. It has definitely gotten lighter. It was a dark brown when she was born, and now it is a light brown, almost reddish blond in places.

LO was born with a ridiculous amount of jet black hair. She hasn't lost any of it, in fact it's gotten a bit longer especially in the back (baby mullet)! It is getting light brown streaks in it now though.

DS2 was born with a reasonable amount of dark brown hair, but it proceeded to all fall out, giving him the same hair as his dad (bald on top, hair around the sides).

It's now all even in length and very light blonde, but he is basically bald. If you are sitting more than a few feet away from him you wouldn't know he has hair because it's so thin, light and short. I was bald until I was 2 years old. DS1 barely had any hair until about a year old.
