Phx Baptist/Bethany Women?s Healthcare

Hi all! I?m a FTM due in December & I'm planning on going the natural route. I am currently followed by the midwives at St. Joe?s which I love but I toured the hospital & I was really disappointed with the facilities. The lack of tubs & the tiny rooms were really off-putting. I am going to tour Phoenix Baptist Hospital but from the pictures on the website I can already tell their facilities are much nicer ? spacious rooms, tubs, etc. If I decided on Phoenix Baptist that would mean I would have to change to Bethany Women?s Healthcare which has mixed reviews on Yelp. I also have not been able to find many reviews on delivering at PBH, either, which concerns me.

 

Does anyone have any input on Phoenix Baptist or Bethany Women?s Care? Anything is much appreciated! Smile

    I had such a bad experience with them. I'd recommend not even trying there.

    I am currently with Bethany Home Midwives and I'll be delivering at phx Baptist in about 2 weeks. I alternate my appointments from midwife to midwife so that I will have had the chance to get to know whichever midwife is on call when I go into labor. They have all been amazing- very supportive of my intention to go the natural route, and they've given me good/honest referrals for childbirth education classes and pediatricians in the valley. I recommend them without hesitation.

    I've been going there since I found out I was 5 1/2 months pregnant. They listen to you and take the time to hear what concerns you may have! They have good customer service and I don't know about Phoenix Baptist Hospital because I had my daughter at Maryvale Hospital and my daughter and son in New Mexico!
