Weekend Plans

I had a strong drink (my first in almost a month), I'm watching old episodes of True Blood, and writing (I can't believe I'm 40% finished with my book already...well, first draft, anyway). Oh, and I made way more than I thought I would in tips tonight.

    We have an open house on Sunday and are supposed to be going for a hike today. I'll probably spend the rest of the weekend sulking. :-( your weekend sounds way better than mine.

    I'm on vacay for a week and a half. More like a staycation.... Gonna hang with the new puppy, Lulu, and maybe hit the beach or some trail walking...

    April/May 2014- Benched due to cysts/enlarged ovaries
    June 2014- 50iu follistim + trigger + progesterone + IUI = BFP!!
    (10 million post wash 60% motility, 20mm/19mm follies)

    My in-laws gave us some money for Christmas to put towards buying a couch, and we haven't had time to look yet. We might go to some furniture stores this weekend!

    My Spring Break officially started at 3pm yesterday!!! (I'm a teacher)  I gardened a little yesterday, then went out for sushi and wine.  It's going to be in the high 70's the next few days, so I am definitely planning on some boat time!!!  We are headed to our new camping property on Sunday for some R&R.

    Well it's a beautiful weekend here. We have two festivals, strawberry and French quarter and a crawfish cook off at a local school that my neighbor is cooking at.. It's beautiful weather and I REALLY want to go to the French quarter fest, my husband wants crawfish, and I need to get my garden done I had a lot of plants delivered last week that need to go in the ground. Were also waiting to hear about about my husbands grandmother to determine what he needs to do.

    For now I'm drinking coffee and I imagine yard work will win but will see.

    Going to a family wedding with DH, and am thrilled that he finally agreed not to wear this clip-on tie he has...argh!! Men. Luckily he agreed, bc I have to gear up for a fertile weekend of TI!

    Today DH and I both work. Hopefully I do not have to work my on call shift tonight, so we are able to take the motorcycles out. Tomorrow I have nothing. We will probably take the bikes out again tomorrow. It's supposed to be gorgeous here today and tomorrow.
    On a even more positive note, I got my first distinctive positive OPK yesterday afternoon!! I've never had a OPK that I could say oh yeah that's definitely positive! :)

    Aug 2013 - SA: Counts & Motility = great, Morph = 1%; RE didn't seem too concerned

    Me: 26
    Jan. 2014 - Blood work ordered by obgyn:  Prolactin = high & AMH = low (0.73)
    Feb. 6, 2014 - Repeat blood work ordered by obgyn:  Prolactin = normal & AMH = low (0.9)
    Feb.  20, 2014 - First appointment with RE
    Feb. 24, 2014 - HSG scheduled;  DX:  one tube definitely open & one tube could be blocked
    Mar. 7, 2014 - CD 21 Blood work for Progesterone; DX:  Progesterone level at 5.2; shows I ovulated but was low
    Mar. 28, 2014 - Laparoscopy; DX:  Tubes open.  Found some endometriosis and had that removed.
     
    History:
    Started TTC:  June 2012
    June 2012 - March 2013:  When it Happens/it happens method = BFN
    March 2013:  Started using Fertility Friend
    Cycles 1 - 15 with Fertility Friend = BFN
    Cycle 16 - Benched due to Laparoscopy
    Cycle 17 - Natural Cycle = BFN
    Cycle 18 - Natural Cycle = BFN
    Cycle 19 - Natural Cycle = BFN

    We're finally getting out to the garden!!  I am so looking forward to it.  We already have some seedlings started indoors, but there is nothing in the ground yet.  I'm also looking forward to hiking with our dog.

    09/2012: Start TTC after stopping NuvaRing.  No cycles seemed to occur.
    01/2013 - 05/2013: Tried Provera to "jumpstart" cycles. No luck.
    12/2013-     01/2014: Clomid 50mg - no big follies, stepped to 100mg; One mature follie, Ovidrel (HCG trigger), IUI #1 completed - BFN

    @jszy10‌ jealous! I'm a teacher, but our spring break is cancelled due to many snow days. :( My weekend will consist of working on my grad class. Maybe DH and I will go out to dinner, though. :)

    CaitlinAnn24 -- NOO!!!!!  That is terrible :o(.  I don't know HOW my district did it, but we had 9 snow days and the kids only have to make up 1 of them!!  We work in 4 extra days into our schedule, and I guess the other 4 were excused by the state??  We have a few added in-servicedays at the end of the year though because of it.

    @Calindi - Don't you love when you make a deal with the hubby and they don't do their part?  I went shopping and ran errands this am.  Asked my husband to sweep the kitchen and run the vac.  I came home to find that neither had been done and hubby was outside working on the boat. 
    Married on October 20, 2012.  Began trying in January 2013.
    RE appointment & testing December 2013 - February 2014= Unexplained IF, possible endometriosis
    IUI#1- March 22 (100mg clomid, 75 mg of Bravelle, Ovidrel trigger) = BFP!!!

    Yesterday we ran our usual weekend errands (H got a haircut, then grocery shopping and pet store for pet food).  I also picked up some herbs to plant in containers on our patio - excited about that! Last night I made a new chicken recipe I found, which turned out to be delicious, and we watched a movie.

    Today we're driving up north a little ways, taking a short ferry ride and exploring one of the islands! We haven't done that at all yet since we moved out here.  We're taking our dog with us and it's a gorgeous day, so I'm very pleased.
