J's clothes are getting all dingy from her crawling around because apparently I need to sweep and vacuum more Any tips on getting them out? Color-safe bleach? Some other concoction?
I've just been using All Free and Clear since before Lily was born. Took out a raspberry stain. I never have to worry about poop stains. I put a little on, let it sit, and then wash.
@Steamboat1679 The dinge doesn't bother me all that much, but we're keeping everything for future babies and it'd be nice to have them all nice and clean and unstained again
Sadly, some stuff is never going to make it to be passed down. With two boys people were like "Nice - you don't have to buy new clothes!" Well, I don't have to buy ALL new clothes but some stuff never made it past Aiden and some stuff I've gotten Q now aren't making it to the resale pile
Never heard of it sticking, but I start the water going and then add the detergent and let it dissolve a bit, then add the clothes once there's a couple inches of water. That might help.
I use oxyclean stain remover spray on everything! I've been soaking M's stuff lately because she crawls around my parents' patio here and gets all dusty/dirty. There's shale in the dust because it blows off of the trail and that stuff is a real PITA to get out. But so far so good with the oxy and soaking. We even got a huge shale stain out of one of our A+A blankets (it dragged against the stroller wheel which was covered in wet shale... I thought for sure it was ruined)
I'd been having this issue (with both kids' clothes) that even after washed, they'd have weird dark spots left behind on the clothing - almost like oil stains? It doesn't make sense but I feel like it's residue of some sort...anyhoo, we use Tide or All Free and Clear for laundry, liquid. Maybe the powder will resolve that issue.
This happens to us too @CTGirl30 mostly on light colored clothes It's so frustrating!! I have no idea what causes it!
