Non-rollers....take 2

Alright I know we did this a few weeks ago, but since then, who's LO's have started to roll, and who's are still refusing?

My Lo will be 4 months next week, and still hates tummy time with a passion. He has refused to roll either way, and I usually just get yelled at until I pick him back up.

Re: Non-rollers....take 2

  • Ds, turning 5 months in a week, still not rolling.

  • My LO rolled from back to tummy for the first time last night. He is almost 4 months. He had started rolling to his side a week or so ago and yesterday it was a full roll. He was very upset by it.

  • 4 months a few days ago...still no rolling either way. He is starting to hate tummy time less, so maybe it's coming soon. Pretty sure he knows I'm at his beck and call and will help him if he screams loud enough.
  • Mine will do back to tummy but not tummy to back.... It's so annoying! The playmat is no longer buying me time to poop lol. She'll roll instantly and then get pissed and start screaming.

This. He used to roll from tummy to back but seems to have forgotten .
  • Almost 4.5 mo and no consistent rolling. He will go belly to back about 50% of the time but not back to belly at a all. He'll get there!

  • Mine will be 4 mos tomorrow and is rolling back to tummy non stop. She has rolled tummy to back a couple times but not consistently. Depending on the time of the day and her tiredness level, she doesn't mind being on her tummy for a while.

The waking up and being mad she's sleeping on her tummy is killing me though.
  • Another forgetter here. She did it twice a few weeks back but now just looks at me like I'm crazy if I try to give her a little push.

  • Belly to back a few times starting at 13 weeks. But he's not consistent. No sign of back to belly yet - just back to side.
  • Just turned 4 months, and will only roll to his side. No rolling at all over here!

  • 4 1/2 months and we had 1 roll a month and a half ago. He is pulling his legs up under his butt when we put him on his stomach (its like he wants to crawl but has yet to coordinate his hands- not like super baby though). I think he may start the inch worm thing before he rolls.
  • He's 4 and a half months and non stop rolling back n forth all of a sudden. It's making me start to get nervous.

Mine can now roll both ways, but she gets lazy and doesn't like to roll from tummy to back.

ETA: She's a bit over 4 months, and has been rolling for like 2 or 3 weeks I think.

  • Mason is 4 months and just started rolling tummy to back. He seems to have no interest in back to tummy and I'm totally fine with that, because that would mean no more swaddle.

My babe started at 3.5 months rolling back to belly, then hated it once she was there. She had only done it a few times until this week (4 months). Now it's every few minutes when she's on her play mat that she rolls to her belly and starts whining.

This is what we have too. His arms are always behind him though, so he tries to push himself with his feet but then he just slides on his face lol

  • My baby has cancelled tummy time unless I prop him on the boppy. He rolls over as soon as I place him on his tummy. But he somehow forgets how to do it when he turned that way himsrlf.

  • 4 months next week and just recently started going from back to side. He loathes tummy time, so tummy to back won't happen anytime soon, but maybe back to tummy will! Not worried... He'll do it when he's ready!

4.5 months no rolling, not interested. Trying desperately to sit and can jump like anything in the jumper/laps.

  • 4.5 months and no rolling here! He's quite content hanging out on both his tummy and back, he apparently sees no need to move himself!
  • Little man is 4.5 months and has absolutely no interest in rolling or tummy time

  • She now has tummy to back down to a science but is still struggling with the bottom arm when attempting to go from back to tummy. Soon she will be log rolling across my living room floor.

  • No rolling here. She wants to, but can't quite figure it out. She'll get up on her side, but nothing beyond that.

  • 4.5 months and she just rolled over tummy to back this past week (thurs) but I'm pretty sure it was an accident as it hasn't happened again and no other attempts have been made by her
  • Nicholas still enjoys being a meatloaf. I put him on his back, he lays there and coos. On his tummy, he yells at me. He'll be 5 months on the 26th. The pedi said it might be because he has more to move!

  • DS started rolling back to front about 2 weeks ago, and hasn't stopped. He rolls over within a minute of me putting him down on his back, almost without fail. This week, he has rolled tummy to back a few times, but then looks surprised and wants back over. He'll be 4 months old next weekend.

@ballerina10‌ you called it re bathroom breaks. Also, the changing table has become a perilous perch.
  • 4 months next week. Up until a few days ago L would roll tummy to back everytime we put him on his tummy but now he's discovered that he can hold his head up and see! So he doesn't totally hate tummy time but he doesn't roll as much either. He's still not doing any back to tummy action.

  • DD rolled from tummy to back almost 3 weeks ago now but nothing since, & still no rolling from back to tummy. She's over 4 months now.
  • Simon is 3.5 months. He rolled belly to back one time totally out of the blue a couple weeks ago. Clearly it was a fluke though because he can't seem to repeat it. On his back he's been rolling to his side a lot, so I'm thinking he'll probably be rolling over (back to belly) in the next couple weeks. And then we will join the Baby-wakes-up-screaming-every-few-minutes club since he hates being on his tummy. ;)

  • Almost 4 months old. Rolled tummy to back a few times but not recently. No back to tummy. Not interested. She LOVES being propped up sitting, or being held airplane style or over the shoulder. I'd call her a lazy baby except she is constantly wiggling.

  • Yup he finally got it last week at 4mths and he won't stop practicing! but only back to tummy. Saw a few signs of tummy to back today so I think we're not far off. He also started tucking his knees under him and sticking his bum in the air, hasn't worked out the arms to go with it yet though.
