Re: Ticker Change Saturday!

  • How many weeks, what fruit/veggie? 35, coconut

How are you feeling? A little nauseous still, but pretty good overall

Any other updates? Pregnancy related or otherwise. What were the highlights and lowlights of your week? highlights - making it to 35 weeks! lowlights - realizing we are not even close to being ready for baby, and I'm dilated to a 2 (not that it means anything, but OB predicts I'll deliver in about a week and a half)

GTKY: Give a % of how ready you feel for the arrival of LO? What major things stillneed to be done? 25% - we still need to get clothes and other upholstery washed, car seat bases installed, pack n play changing table up, wipe down the RnP, clean up the nursery, and I need to pack my hospital bag. My kid is sleeping right now, and I'm on here. I have no motivation. Where's the nesting kick?!

  • How many weeks, what fruit/veggie? 37 weeks, a winter melon! (No clue what that is)

How are you feeling? Tired, huge, and pretty uncomfortable. I have to say I've been lucky. This really all just hit me the other day. Now I've got an elegant pregnant waddle, and I'm rocking the "cankles" by the end of the day. I haven't been checked for dilation yet, but at my weekly visit yesterday the OB predicted 2 more weeks.

Any other updates? Pregnancy related or otherwise. What were the highlights and lowlights of your week? I'm just getting really excited to meet this little girl! I went out this morning to pick up a few more little things we need (and some that we didn't!) Today my mom is here giving my house a good cleaning and I'm on strict orders to "not lift a finger and keep my feet up". Yes ma'am! LOL. Highlight this week: Spring seems to have FINALLY arrived and it's putting me in a good mood. Lowlight: the swollen ankles and overall exhaustion is seriously inhibiting me from all the things I feel like I should be doing. Thank God I have such a great support system.

GTKY: Give a % of how ready you feel for the arrival of LO? What major things still need to be done? I'd say 75%. We've been chipping away at things little by little so it doesn't seem so overwhelming. The big things we still need to do: Install car seat bases, finish packing hospital bags, prep my CD stash, wash a few bottles, pacifiers, and sterilize my breast pump parts.

  • How many weeks, what fruit/veggie?36- Honeydew

    How are you feeling? Exhausted!

Any other updates? Pregnancy related or otherwise. What were the highlights and lowlights of your week? Yesterday was my last day of work. Totally ready to have this baby but I know it will be w few more weeks

GTKY: Give a % of how ready you feel for the arrival of LO? What major things stillneed to be done? I'm 75% ready. All major things are ready minus
  • How many weeks, what fruit/veggie?
    34 weeks, butternut squash

    How are you feeling?
I feel pretty good. We've been cleaning and packing all day, so my back hurts and I need a nap now.

Any other updates? Pregnancy related or otherwise. What were the highlights and lowlights of your week?
Sex hurt for the first time today :( I hope that was a one-time thing. Separate note: we're in the process of buying a house, and I'm super excited about it :)

GTKY: Give a % of how ready you feel for the arrival of LO? What major things stillneed to be done?
35% we have most of the things we need, but no place to put them until we move. We will also need to paint before we move in.

  • How many weeks, what fruit/veggie?   35 weeks - coconut

How are you feeling?   exhausted.  Sleeping like crap, sore.  But otherwise, I feel okay.

Any other updates? Pregnancy related or otherwise. What were the highlights and lowlights of your week?  Nothing special this past week.  Monday is my birthday so that's fun.  And I have an u/s on Wednesday - can't wait to see baby again!

GTKY: Give a % of how ready you feel for the arrival of LO? What major things stillneed to be done?  hmm...I'd say a solid 75% ready.  I still have stuff to do, but being a STM, I know the majority of it doesn't *need* to be done before baby arrives so I'm not feeling very motivated.  I need to wash the new clothes I bought but I'm waiting for my u/s to confirm it's a girl :)  I also need to put the car seat in the car and make sure I have stuff I'll need immediately following delivery - pads, breast pads, etc.

  • 35 Weeks- Coconut!

Feeling pretty good! Glad to be on Spring Break.

High- I have my first weekly appt on Wednesday. I have 3 more app'ts already scheduled. If I make it to the 24th, I will have my longest pregnancy. DS was born at 36w4d. Low- we had major plumbing issues which are starting to get fixed. We received a check from the Insurance Co. We have a long rode ahead to fix our basement (walls are wrecked, carpet, etc).

Readiness- Wish we were further along, but doable. We still have to clear up DSs new room. Most of my Sprinkle stuff is at ILs house. We do have the car seat and the Rock-n-Play here.

  • How many weeks, what fruit/veggie? 36 weeks - Honeydew

How are you feeling? Tired and achy

Any other updates? Pregnancy related or otherwise. What were the highlights and lowlights of your week?
    Highlights
    - I am finished working and officially on mat leave now! My team threw me a surprise baby shower on my last shift at work and made me bawl like a baby. My mom & sister are in town and they arranged to help my friends throw a baby shower today - which was so amazing!
Lowlights - MIL told DH & I today that she just found out she has breast cancer. We are kind of overwhelmed right now with our emotions and dont know how to proceed. MIL lost her own mother at almost the same age as she is now and to breast cancer.

GTKY: Give a % of how ready you feel for the arrival of LO? What major things still need to be done? Probably 50% ready - still need to finish decorating the nursery, put carseat base in car, pack hospital bag, do a thorough cleaning on the house, organize storage areas (cupboards, closets & under bathroom sinks)
