It seems like a lot of us have songs in which we change lyrics to entertain the babies. What are yours?
My go-to is Tom Jones' Pussycat. But I sub in each kid's nickname. For example:
Gracie Girl, Gracie Girl, I love you
Yes, I dooooooo
You and your Gracie Girl nose
Woah Woah
You and Your Gracie Girl eyes
Woah Woah
etc. (continuing naming body parts until the fun wears off for the baby)
Re: s/o s/o songs you change for LO
Brush, brush, brush your teeth
Brush them till they're clean
Brush them till they're nice and clean
Because you need clean teeth
Yeah, I'm super creative too.

We're gonna wash, wash, wash your hair
Wash it wash it nice and clean
We're gonna wash, wash, wash your hair
Clean it up
Clean it up
I started singing to ds when he was a baby. Now we both sing it to dd while I was her hair.
Twinkle twinkle little Logie
You look like you ate a hoagie.
Beaver beaver beaver. I made you out of clay. Beaver beaver beaver. With my beaver I shall play.
I used a different tune from then on.
I later realized it was a squirrel.

We sing a song at bed time every night to the tune of Frere Jacques:
nigh night Zoey, nigh night Zoey
nighty night, nighty night,
nighty night dear zoey, nighty night dear zoey
nighty night, nighty night
We repeat it inserting mommy daddy etc.
When the bow breaks, the cradle may fall,
But mommy will catch (insert kid's name), before he/she falls!
And then I fake drop said kid and squeeze them really tight. They both love it.
