Hugs and Kisses

Does your LO give you hugs and kisses yet? DS will come up and hug my legs and sometimes give me hugs around my neck but they are rare. He has only given me a kiss once or twice and honestly it was more like a I'm gonna bite your nose. He cuddles with me all the time and I give him lots of hugs and kisses I just didn't know if this was "normal" and around what point they usually start giving real hugs and kisses.

Tumaini loves giving hugs. She'll squeeze me and H really tight. It's the cutest thing. Kisses are rare but the sweetest thing in the world. I get maybe one or two a week. However, she'll pull up my shirt a few times a day, often without prompting, to give a kiss to my growing belly. I melt every single time. Hopefully she'll love the baby as much when he/she is born as she does now.

Yes. LO loves to hug and she hugs her friends at DC before we leave. She also like to make my H and I kiss. Every morning we give each other a kiss before I leave with her for DC. LO knows it is part of our routine so she likes to help push one of our heads towards the other (depending on who is holding her). It is sweet and cute. Just recently she started giving us kisses goodbye in the morning to.

V does not kiss me or DH. But she would kiss her staff animals and dolls. And some random plastic toys on the playground (yuk!)

When I ask her to give me a kiss she brings her face to me sideways and waits for me to kiss her on the cheek. Silly girl. Hugs are abundant though.

Usually she will only give us a hug or a kiss if we ask her to. VERY occasionally she will ask for a hug or randomly give me one. And that's usually when she is startled or frightened by something. I guess I'm not surprised because she was never a cuddly baby or a snuggler.

Emma will give hugs and kisses if we ask (most times). She will give a spontaneous hug or kiss once in a while. It's a little harder to get them from Liam, unless you are either grandpa. He's a little more rough with them too and will knock Emma down or run into you if he's greeting you.

He gives great, loud kisses, but his hugs are mostly sucking his thumb and leaning against someone.

She's been doing both for a while, but I only get a proper spontaneous one once in a blue moon. The rest of the time, she gives them under duress. My fault though for turning hugs and kisses into a game, and chasing her around the house to kiss her. She thinks being kissed is like being pretend sat on now, just a different smothering technique. I need to stop.

LO gives hugs and kisses too. A lot of time he will just give you his cheek if you ask for a kiss. It's pretty funny.

We have a hug & kissing machine here. He gives at least 20 of each, each day, usually in multiples. When he's cuddling to sleep at night, he'll continuously pull us in for kisses as he falls asleep. Love it

If DH or I am gone for a few minutes we get a knee hug when we get back. Kisses are hard, but he will give a few a week at bedtime. He kisses the dog and his Pooh a lot. This is his kiss-face:

Owen will give hugs and kisses but only when he wants to. He'll do them when I ask about 25% of the time. However, Owen and @bubbajug 's Eleanor will give each other smooches and it's hands down the cutest thing I've ever seen. Complete with the "mmmm" sound as they both go in with lips puckered.
