Baby on your birthday?

I'll be 38 weeks and 4 days on my birthday, so it's not impossible baby could arrive on the same day I was born! I can't figure out if that would be cool or not... or I was born 2 days after my mom's birthday, so it would be neat if this baby was 2 days after mine...

But, just for interest's sake, would you like to share a birthday with your LO? Or do you think it's better for the LO to have his/her own day?

I really wouldn't care either way. I'm one of those grouchy people that get annoyed when adults make huge deals out of their birthdays though, haha. If we shared a birthday I would probably just be glad that it would overshadow mine, since kid birthdays are more fun!

My husband wants her to come on his so we never have to celebrate his again. He hates the attention so a baby on his birthday would make it all about her. I don't want to wait until 4/29 though so I'm hoping she comes before!!

We had the potential for LO to come on DH's birthday (3/30). Laughing hysterically at that now because here I am, almost 2 weeks later, still effing pregnant....

My bday is Monday! But I don't think I want to share! Although I am ready for her to come, if she could wait till after my bday that would be great....I want her to have her own day!

My bday is today and I would freaking love to share it with baby! I mean, obviously I am ready to have this baby out of me, but I think it would be really special to share my birthday with my child. I'm definitely over the age of having my birthday be all about me, so I wouldn't mind sharing. I honestly think it would be a lot of fun. We'd be able to have an extra special bond between us. I just imagine going out to tea/breakfast/coffee etc. to celebrate our birthdays.

Plus it'd be easier for hubster to remember the dates :-)

Alas...it's 5 pm here and I don't think I'll be pushing out a baby in the next 7 hours.

My birthday was the 8th. My dad's is the 12th. My uncles is the 18th. My daughter shares a birthday with one of my sisters.

My DD was due 9/12 and my birthday is 9/9. I thought it would be cool for it to happen that way but pre-e came knocking and stomped all over my buzz. X(

My DH's bday is tomorrow, and I'm scheduled for a RCS on Monday. He'd LOVE to share it w/ LO, but they don't do elective surgery in the weekends. Perhaps baby will come then anyway!

My baby is due on my 30th bday (4/30) I'd rather not share only because I wouldn't want to take any of the joy of her bday away for celebration of my own... But it's in gods hands:)

My original due date was May 2 (changed to April 30). My birthday is May 5th, my moms is May 6th.

I wouldn't choose to share a birthday, but having my birthday so close to my mom's was never an issue for us.

I was born on my mom's birthday! It was always kind of special for us, and she told me every year (and still does) that I was the best present she ever got. My dad said he loved it because he would always remember our birthday.

My birthday is 4/21 and my EDD is 4/23 so she could come on my birthday. I go back and fourth with mixed feelings, labor on my birthday would suck but meeting my daughter and the rest of the years would be amazing.

I did not want my son on my birthday. If I would have pushed back my induction that is probably just what would have happened. He is 3 days before mine! I really didn't want to always have to plan a bday party on my birthday! But I can see how it would be neat too

I turn 30 on the 29th which is my due date. I think it would be cool! But I would prefer a cinco de mayo for him!!! Way more fun!

I feel like this. I was born the 23rd of December at three am. My moms birthday is the 22nd. Yeah I'm that kid that puts there mom in labor for 20 hours on her birthday, only to come a couple hours later so I could have my own day.

my dad's bday is the 18th and my Dh's is the 26th. Our EDD is 23rd so either date is possible. My dad has predicted that LO will be born on his bday so we will see! My DH doesn't want to share his bday so kid needs to not come on 26th lol
