Intro and question

Sorry if this has been asked.  I tried looking back several pages and didn't find anything.  C is 5 months and EBF, well EPing and fed by bottle.   He never had a good latch.  He will comfort nurse, but I overproduce and its just too much for him.  We have not introduced food yet. Anyway, over the weekend he spiked a temp and was not feeling well at all.  He went from eating between 30-36 oz daily to 16oz for two days when he was not feeling well.  He is now back to about 24oz.  Prior to getting sick, he had a bowel movement daily if not more.  He has not pooped since Saturday.  His stomach is soft and he does not look like he is in discomfort.  However he has some really stinky farts.  Called the pedi twice now and has not returned my phone call (once yesterday and again today).  Not happy.  Has anyone ever had LO go this long without pooping?

    he is probably fine- EBF babies can go several times per day, or go up to 7-10 days without pooping. if his stomach is soft (which it is),  and if he is in good spirits, i wouldn't be too concerned. i'd double-check with your pedi because of the fever, but i bet he's fine. but, watch out for the Poopzilla that may be coming! whenever my DS went a couple of days without going, it was always epic. ;)

    Thank you.  I am waiting to see what blow out will be next.  Unfortunately, he is with my aunt while I am at work... I forwarned her...

    We've gone 11 days which was the longest. Of course went to church in our sunday best and prayed about it. Had a massive blowout in church and the next day

    As long as he has several wet diapers he should be ok.(not dehydrated) The longest mine has gone is 3 days.
