  Mine loved them for about 3 weeks. Now he is refusing about everything but yogurt. I also feel like I am fighting his tongue now. He used to eat from the spoon no problem. I think he is just going through a difficult phase.

  I would look into baby led weaning, it has worked out well for us so far. You could try giving him a chunk of banana, avocado or something soft and see how he does.

  If LO wants what you are eating, and it's healthy, why don't you give him some? Babies don't need purees. 
  
  Give him banana, or toast, or potatoes, or spaghetti or whatever in appropriate sizes and let LO go to town.

  Thanks ! I have given him some of what we eat and will start doin more now. It's my first LO and think I overly worry about choking sometimes.

  What you're doing is baby led weaning. It's ok if he doesn't eat baby food You're doing great!
