Dh has been gone all week, first two days on business, next 3 days at the Masters tournament in Augusta... He says to me on the phone earlier: "I can't wait to get home to take a nap."

Where's that nut punch bus? It needs to be parked outside my house in time for his arrival.

Update: he was so excited to see us that he drove straight to swim lessons from the airport and had happy tears in his eyes when he saw James. He spent the entire lesson sitting on the side of the pool and waving and James while James squealed with happiness.

Nut punch bus retracted. My apologies for using our important resources when they were not needed. $5.99 fine.

Poor mr lelo. It is so hard to go watch a golf tournament. Napping while watching golf is the only way to watch it.

Pretend you misheard him and thought he said he can't wait to get home so YOU can take a nap. And take him up on his generous offer.

Totally this. Ham it up saying how exhausted you've been taking care of the children while he was on holiday so if he tries to correct you he will feel like an ass
