Need Advice: What Type of Wood?

I do like the white cribs, but the dark maple is super elegant!

Our home is filled with warm colors, but the woods in our home are all honey.  

What would you suggest as a crib?  Maple or White?

I'm looking to do something neutral,soothing, and beautiful, yet that keeps with a boys room.

    I hate painted wood with a passion, so I'd go with the maple.

    I don't really picture white as boys room. 

    And either way, I prefer the dark wood.

    I was looking at white furniture at first, but then I decided it didn't look as nice as real wood.  So I'd go with the maple.

    Yeah thats what I'm thinking, todays nursery's boys and girls have dark maple.  Plus, If I pick a neutral color for a crib bedding, it will be washed out with the white crib, Ya know?

    I'd go with the maple, it looks more elegent!

    As of white cribs, every tiny mark might show on it... sooner or later, your kid might draw over it, and after awhile, I don't think it would look as good... Plus, white just doesn't seem like the crib for a boy, in my opinion.
