Help me pick again?!

We are getting a new patio door for our dining room (that leads out to our "Florida room" and we are getting french doors in our family room in the basement (we have a split level). They are going to be installed this weekend. Currently i have a curtain for privacy on the one in our dinning room and vertical blinds on the patio door down stairs.

Should we get the doors with the blinds between the glass? Does anyone have these? Pros cons?

    We have the doors with he blinds.

    I love them because they provide extra light but even when the blinds are down you can still see through them. This is the only reason I don't like them.

    Vertical blinds are great if it's 1986. Get the doors with the blinds in them.

    We did a translucent film over our back patio doors. It was inexpensive and gives us total privacy but it's still glaringly bright in the kitchen at some times of the day. For this reason, I think we're going to upgrade to the blinds in the door this summer.

    LOL well the ones that were there when we moved in were salmon pink. We did get white ones, but we didn't have a lot of money so 1986 was really cost effective for us :)

    Totally. But vertical blinds aren't something you upgrade to, lol. You're on the right track with the blinds in the door!

    Agreed! Now if only i could talk DH out of that wood paneling....

    I am i said that i have vertical blinds currently in front of one of the patio doors.

    I vote the door w/ the blinds in them.... I am not a fan of vertical blinds.

    Got the doors last night with blinds in them. Can't wait to see them put in today!
