  • Ok, I'm glad to see these results. DS is mostly straw cups and can sip out of a regular cup, but doesn't really like to. DH was pushing to get him more on regular cups, and in an unfortunate pregnancy moment I informed him that he could handle that, because I was not in the mood to wipe up spills 100 times a day...

  • Dagny is straw cups. I'm not even sure how to teach her to drink out of a regular one. I'm with her during the day and I drink out of a straw so not sure how that will go...

  • She still nurses, but she uses a straw cup when she has regular milk or water.

  • I thought I was the only one who was still giving her sippies! She doesn't like drinking out of the straw cups.

Still doing mostly sippy cups here. Sometimes she drinks from a straw cup and will also drink from a regular cup, but only if I'm holding it. She still finds it amusing to dump the contents out if there is no lid, so my little one needs to mature a bit before she has full access to the regular cup.
This is us as well. He can and has drank from a regular cup, but just a few sips. Then, he dumps it all. So we use sippies.
    This is us too.

  • I said "ss" because she uses this cup which is a sippy in the sense that it has a lid but teaches kids how to cup drink.

  • She only has regular cups now at home, her only sippy is at daycare. She makes a mess, loves pouring it out as soon as my back is turned, or adding milk or water to whatever is in her plate/bowl. I just would rather wipe the floor then wash a straw cup. Sad but true.

  • Mostly sippy cups but probably because we only have one straw cup, but he does fine with that too.  I know I need to work on the regular cup, but I'll get to that when the eating portion of dinner becomes calmer.
