So some of us are coming up on our 4-6 week post partum. How long are you waiting or waited to get back in the sack. I know with my first I had no plans on sex for a long long time. This time I feel a lot better and recovered a lot faster.

    I don't plan on having sex till my 6 weeks. I don't wanna risk anything!! I'm only 2 weeks post partum so I still have a long time. I feel so bad for DH he's dying for some sexy time.

    Can I ye you with my first I did an 8 week pp check up, well when leaving there was a lady at her 6 week check up THAT WAS PREGNANT already. Scared the crap out of me lol. Apprently you are more fertile during this time...

    I still have an inside baby and wish I was PP! But with my first I didnt get any stiches and tried getting "naughty" after 3 weeks and all was fine except that I had suddenly become allergic to condoms! !!!!! This time my dr said I could use the sponges if i put it in directly before and remove it after instead of leaving it in for any amount of time. They are $20 for 3 though. We are dumb enough to try the pull out method if we have to lol.

    Yeah. My OB said he has that happen a lot. I just don't wanna risk infection or a pregnancy that we can't take on. But when that 6 weeks is up me and DH are having some serious sexy time :)

    After the way my DH stuck up for me to my inlaws earlier, he might get a little loving tonight!!! But we will wait for around 4-6 weeks to do the deed.

    And if you had a csection and are wondering - YES IT STILL HURTS AFTER A CS (-at least it did for me last time, but I had labored first so maybe that's why!).

    Last time it was another several months PP before we were up for it. This time, I'm counting down to 6w. Probably should set up that appt so I have an actual date in mind.

    With my first two, DH and I never waited until the 6 weeks. (We were still newlyweds) I'm 2 weeks PP now and I think we'll wait a little while longer. I can't wait though!

    13 days pp now, and I got the green light yesterday at my 2 week check up. I think its still going to be awhile though.

    Right after you give birth is one of the times you are the most fertile. Which is probably why the ob starts talking about birth control options before pregnancy is even over lol
