Anyone have any suggestions. I always put him on his back to sleep and when I wake up he's on his stomach again. Do they reach a certain age where it's ok or is it still unsafe?
I am now laying my daughter on her tummy as she rolls there anyways and wakes herself up trying to get comfy! As long as he can roll and pull his head up, you are good to go. Just don't swaddle arms in anymore (ifyou still swaddle).
DS is also a tummy sleeper now. He will sometimes lay his head straight into the mattress. He can still breathe like this, but it does scare me a little so I move his face sideways.
Videos from the CDC on SIDS recommend always putting baby on back but let them do whatever they want after that. It's harder for babies to roll from back to front so if you baby can get to the tummy from back, he can get out again.
