With all this talk about what you have left to do before baby gets here I've noticed a lot of you ladies are making freezer meals. I know I can't be the only one who would love the recipes. I have a couple ideas but nothing that would last more then a couple days. So please share some recipes here!
Re: Make ahead meals that you can freeze!
I bump everyday how did I miss this post?! Thanks for the link!
I just found this list recently and plan on making a few of these: https://pregnant.thebump.com/pregnancy/third-trimester/articles/freezer-meal-recipes.aspx
If you are going to make the freezer meals, make sure you actually use them. I did not. C was 20 months and I went down to clean out the chest freezer...9 meals went into the trash because they had been in there for 21 months...oops!!
Married DH 7/30/11
CSC arrived 5/7/12
CHC arrived 6/2/14
Probably both. It was easier to eat the cold cuts in my fridge for dinner than it was to remember to pre-heat the oven early enough that the frozen meal could cook for an hour, or to remember to grab the meal out of the freezer so it could defrost in the fridge over night. My freezer is in my gross basement, which may have also been a factor. Had I kept the meals in the upstairs freezer where I could see them and they were readily available, I think I'd have had a better chance of actually using them. Maybe if you can get into a schedule of bringing one up each night while that night's dinner is cooking or something. I think I was just so wrapped up with baby that they never occured to me until it was too late for that night, and then we got lazy, and then we really forgot about them.

This will be #4 for me so I'm really trying to find ways to make the first couple weeks a lot easier on myself.
However...
Hubby is also loving freezer meals. He looks in the freezer and says "Wow, so we can have chicken pot pie, enchiladas annnnd calzones?!" He is in heaven and eating all our food!
