I got it in my head recently that I think I want to buy a ring sling. I've got a Mai tai and I like it, but I like the idea of having something that wouldn't drag all over the ground when baby is going in and out. Then I started thinking that maybe I should get a woven wrap for more versatility. I could get some rings and do a no sew type thing when I want a ring slung type carrier. I'm just worried that a) it will be harder than I'm thinking to make the no sew sling work and b) what if I buy a wrap that is just way too long. Does anyone have any feedback for how much wrap I would need or if I'm better off just buying a dedicated ring sling and calling it a day? I do still have the Mai tai and it's not like I've been using that all that often (although in hoping to start now that the weather is getting nice).
