    I just don't understand.  If you hire a nanny who seems like someone you would trust to care for your little one alone, why wouldn't you tell her your video'ing?  Any sane normal person would understand and be fine with it. Anyone who wasn't okay with it, you probably wouldn't want watching your child.  

    Maybe her not writing things down etc is her passive response to being video'd without being told.  I'd be like "I don't know, he napped around 4" while thinking "why don't you just check the damn video"
