    WTF taxes... I've been avoiding filing because the initial numbers run by me had us owing over $3k. We've got over $12k in medical expenses OOP so I'm going to a CPA on Saturday. I will be PISSED if I pay a few hundred dollars to still owe a few thousand.

    DiFazette I am sorry you have to pay in. The system sucks. Look into something you can use for deductions. We have a few rentals so between 'losing' on those and having LO this year we did alright. If you run a business you can deduct some of your lights, phone, heat, land tax etc. I know that doesn't help for this year but maybe something to think about.

    sorry but if the government is dumb enough to pay to rebuild cities we blow-up and buy a camel statue for Pakistan (I do not actually know if this is true but I saw something about them spending like 100,000 so it wouldn't surprise me.) They do not deserve my hard earned money. If they want to start using it to take care of people here in the US then I will be a little more honest.

    I am not saying cheat the government (not that they are doing anything for us.) I am just saying their are ways that are legal that can help you keep your money.

    Ok, that makes more sense. But, the camel statue thing as reasoning had me going. I was curious and googled, and could only find it discussed on pretty fanatical sights. I think it's BS.

    Haha I do not know if the camel things was true either but someone my mom knows posted it on his facebook. I just thought if it was even possible that it was true that would be sad.

    Sorry no I was not trying to be disrespectful to the Pakistan culture (unless you thought the camel comment was the insult because that wasn't mine just an image I saw.) Actually in my mind and I do not know how it comes off typed but I was slamming our own culture for wasting money on something as insignificant and useless as a statue.(like I said if that is even true, but our government would waste our money on it)
