WWJ13 Do? 1st bday

So I had a late little bugger and his bday isn't until July 10. I was hoping to have a BBQ with our friends and family to celebrate in the park across the street. The problem is when to have it. His actual bday is a Thursday.

We could do it the weekend before, but that's when most people are celebrating the 4th.

We could do it the Sunday after (the 13th) but good friends are getting married on the 12th and DH is in the wedding party. So things will be busy and everyone will be hungover.

Or we could wait another week and do it the 19/20.

I know it's a long way off, but wwyd?

I would wait or do it the last weekend of June. A couple weeks doesn't make much of a difference to a one year old.

I am in the same boat, W is the 26th of June, the weekend before my MIL has planned a shower and other events for my BIL and Fiance, the following weekend is a long weekend here, and then we move and so it will probably be sometime the middle of July.
