Pain/UTI/kill me now.

I've been having a lot of stomach pain - mostly above the belly button but occasionally below and it's been the sort of constant but bearable pain.

Long story short, by the time I get to speak to someone at my OBs office after being on hold and transferred over and over, no one could fit me in. I was about to go home to lay in bed and suffer through it when I completely broke down and had my husband take me to the ER.

Dbag at ER says it's probably RLP. They run tests and it comes back that I have a UTI.

So I get my meds and go home. Last night I took a few warm baths to try to relax, fell asleep in the bathtub, woke up multiple times throughout the night in pain - though now the pain goes from slightly painful to really painful, stays really painful a bit, then subsides.

I have an appt with my OB late this afternoon. I've had plenty of UTIs in my past but I've never hurt like this because of one.

Anyone experience this pain? Or a nearly unbearable UTI?

    Never had a UTI that painful.  Best of luck getting to your regular OB.  Feel better!

    That's the thing - aside from the fact that I know my urine shouldn't be like 14k gold, I don't feel like I have a UTI. Doesn't hurt to pee at all. No burn, no blades, nothing. Just incredible pain in my stomach.

    I'm honestly thinking I have a UTI but that's not what's causing my pain. I don't know.

    Keep a very close eye on this and go back to the ER if you suspect anything is wrong.  UTIs are very serious during pregnancy and can lead to pre-term labor.

    When I get kidney infections-they are always like this...no identifiable pain urinating or burning. I get really really bad pain in my sides (feels like a fever is in your organs) and I'm miserable-but the only reason I know it's a kidney infection is bc I've had them before, no other identifiable symptoms. So it's possible you have a nasty UTI that has gotten to bladder or kidneys-the urine test they do is just going to say there is an infection-not necessarily WHERE it is...I'm sorry you are in so much pain!!! Hope you get rid of this nasty thing soon!!!

    I feel your pain I am just getting over a uti, they gave me a med that is a class B but it worked miracles.

    I just had a awful one. My pain radiated from my back down my legs. It was awful!
